I have been polite and civil. But when I'm basically told they don't care if I kept my premium account or not and don't care if thier screw up when they changed the business they used to accept cards with didn't allow the use of certain cards that had been used before and then have the gall to hang up on me when I tried to insist something be done to help me keep my account before enough time had passed that it would have been disabled WHEN IT WAS THIER SCREW UP THAT CAUSED THE PROBLEM.

I apologise, then. It sounds like you were exceptionally polite.

I'm half tempted to drop by LL in SF someday and plop down my 20+ year resume along with certificates for employee of the month awards, and production and accuracy figures from the two jobs in high tech I supervised. In BOTH supervisory positions I attained an unheard of first pass yield and it was done by doing this litle thing called "TESTING"...thoroughly and completely, or product did NOT go out the door. Any employees I caught fudging on test reports to get done fast were looking for a new job the next day.


Im laffin, first you dont fit their 30 and younger profile...second seems they dont appreciate perfection, third...they are in a customer service industry, but still believe its a technical acheivement format, hence why on earth would they want someone that thinks perfected patches would do them a world of good, when you'd only slow them down..?

Personally i think they need someone EXACTLY like you, good luck, i say DO IT!

Try dropping 1250$ on an island and 195$ a month to keep it, being provided a 'special' support email address for island owners - only to have them not respond to your emails AT ALL!

They are trying to keep SL 'new and full of features' to stay ahead of potential competitors. But man you know this idea will be copied - if they can keep their servers up even 90% of the time and not ruin the game experience with days of lag after every maintenance period - i'm there!!

Unless you own 1/2 of SL like a certain someone, they don't give a ---- what u think.

Oh hell.. nevermind. I already know it's too much to expect for LL's customer service to treat me the way they would want to be treated and the way I treat my own customers in RL. I'll just continue to ask for the one person that does help whenever I have to call. I'm sick of people who know nothing about me or my situation telling me what the hell to do.

I did own 1/2 a sim at one time. I spent well over $2000 USD in about 3 months when I first found SL. They didn't listen then either.

Yes it will be copied. Just as soon as I get my classes done. There are those of us who plan on putting SL to shame....;)
