we've (we being the US) tried the land war in asia thing twice, we won one and lost one. i guess this one is the pivotal one. once this one is over we will know whether a land war in asia is at least winnable

more than likely we won't need to, a good kick or two and Iran will disintegrate into chaos.

They have lots of oil too, so if we could manage to snatch that up, we'd have all of Iraqs, Saudi Arabia's, and Irans in our pocket. That would be awesome and guarantee the US's ability to drive giant SUVs for a LONG time. |

I think Saudi has us in there pockets. Really? I hope they dont think so. We could take their oil at any time we see fit. Now Hugo Chavez, he'd be a bit harder to get. But we could do it if he pissed us off enough. |

when was the last time a soldier was killed? now as for it being stalemated, no wars are ever over over, they all go into stalemate because there is always a side who feels jaded and seeks revenge, the only exception being WW2
flavian you don't know much about US capabilities do you? we have more than enough to get Hugo Chavez, they are called SPECIAL FORCES |

Being a member for 22 years teaches you a thing or two about reality. Is this the same SF that is tied up in Afganastan hunting down Osama still? |
