From: Selador Cellardoor It's not that they should be uninterested; they should be disinterested. disinterested has the same problem as uninterested. you want impartial. the theory i guess is that uninterested/disinterested people will have no stake in the contention, and thus be impartial. the problem is not only will the be impartial, but they will not necessarily be just because they are not sufficiently engaged to understand the situation. |
