Which region? I am not aware of any that have been down that long.
Region "South" is still down after 3.5 hours.

Zena -- at this point, the RR is over, and when I posted that it was over, there were no regions showing up as still being down. There must be something else wrong with South. Please contact support.
Triple -- normally, the pilot regions do *not* get restarted again when we do the full roll. However, this time, there was a small addition made to the code, so we are restarting the pilot regions again. Half of them were restarted this morning, the other half will be tomorrow morning. The final version that the whole grid will be on after the roll is complete is 1.24.10.106829 |

This is first time I installed the game. I am trying to log in but it doesn't work. I put my names and password and then click "Log in" button, after a minute or so logging in stops at "Waiting for region handshake" and an communicate apear: http://img81.imageshack.us/my.php?image=problemqj7.jpg
My internet is OK and "trying again in a few minutes" doesn't help, the same communicate apears since last 3 hours. Is something wrong with my computer/client/internet or is it all about the game servers? |

Hi Ana. This isn't really the right place for your question. Sounds like you might have a firewall problem which is blocking your access. But if you will post your question in the Resident Answers forum I am sure you will get a lot more help.

I've been teleporting around SL today and have noticed SIGNIFICANT lag and failed-transactions in any region with 1.24.10 (the regions I am visiting are not Open Space regions, but full regions) ... any region still on 1.24.9 is functioning well.
I tried to contact live-support about this issue, but found that the support-portal link went directly to the SL Grid Status page. Anyway - it's something that may want to be looked at. This issue is definitely a showstopper type and I have been experiencing it regularly with 1.24.10 regions and not at all with 1.24.9 regions. _____________________

Good evening: From what I have read, it appears the RR is over. Would this have affected logins by any chance? I’ve attempted to log into the applet and it comes back with “Login Failed.” Obviously my password is correct, as I’m posting here… Any feedback or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I had just been about to post on this, haha! I guess the problem JUST happened a few moments ago, since nobody had mentioned this the first time I checked the forum, but I went to grab some food and here's a dozen posts.
 So yeah. Tells me login failed, they're disabled, says to look at the grid status page that doesn't say squat about this. And on top of all that you can't get to the main SL website. What's going on here? o_0 |

Yes, me too - totally crashed - seems to be a connection loss. Dunno whether connection was lost to the region or to the database or what else.
I am unable to relog - no message on grid status website ^ ^ Loggin in forever again - until it times out... Gah! |
