I only hope that Emerald becomes the default viewer for everyone so that people won't experience floating attachment points on various avatars, or that default SL viewers become compatible with Emerald's amazing features. Extra attachment points and clothing layers is such a MUST in a simulation like SL... considering how pathetic the tiny amount of attachment point is -.-';

It's part of the emerald viewer. Can find it in your install folder, inside the character folder. To get a different viewer to see the attachments properly, you just copy that emerald file and put it in the character folder for the other viewer.

Yeah, sadly the emerald forums are full of people with this problem, and nobody official has chimed in yet with an answer or workaround. Some had suggested turning off anti aliasing and others to delete the settings_emerald file and let it remake it. Both of those were a fail btw..

Is it too late, do you think, for me to simply delete the post that started this conversation?

So is this good for business meetings, or better for educating young children?

I am a firm believer that sex education for the young should start at an early age.

I've been messing with the numbers and I have come up with these settings that seem realistic for smallish boobs (38 on the appearance slider with gravity at 33) in a medium support bra:

mass 33
rebound 23
max velocity 44
friction 14
min velocity 19

I think mass changes the distance they move and rebound and friction affect the number of jiggles/second somehow. I couldn't work out what the other settings do.

My friend just informed me last night about this new Emerald feature...... you guys are such a riot. I can't say that having jiggly boobs is all that much of an issue for my SL self.....eh, or for my RL self for that matter. Never could see the point of the big boob obsession (now, if one could have *#@@**!@! via the boob, that was directly related to the size of the boob....well then hell yeah, we'd all want em)

But...alas.....I don't care. LOL Happily, neither does me sweety....his interests are further south.

But I may just have to load the Emerald viewer just to see what the heck all the fuss is about. lol

The next Emerald should have sliders to allow different sized boobs. If we're going to have reality, why stop at jiggling?

I like the jiggle feature, but like all viewer-side features it has its drawbacks. What you want the world to see may not be what the world wants to see.

This is, I guess, part of the More Predictable Experience.

My alt who is smaller in the chest than I, is considerably more jigglier and natural, whereas I see myself having an occasional petit mal seizure of the boobs.

I noticed when I changed to a low cut, off the shoulder top that my seizures increased.

Other avatars that I've observed seem to jiggle bounce more frequently and normally.

It's all very odd.

Alright. I don't want jiggly bewbs for myself, but I did want to see the effect. So I logged in my alt, who is female. I can't find anywhere to make the boobs jiggle. Is it automatic - you don;t get a choice? I tried first in Appearnce, but nothing there. So I looked for a checkbox in Prefs and even under the Emerlad menu at the top of the viewer, but i couldn't find anything. Sp how is it done? Or is it just me who doesn't have a suitable method of viewing it?

go into EDIT / PREFERENCES / EMERALD tab

and at the top of the right hand window you will see 2 tabs , PAGE 1 and PAGE 2 ,

click PAGE 2

then click the EFFECTS tab and you will see a checkbox for ENABLE PHYSICS FOR AVATAR BREASTS

It's very odd that sometimes the effect just suddenly stops for no reason, but will resume if I relog.

The view you're seeing of yourself through that same AV's camera cannot be trusted. Nearly half of the people using this feature cannot see the effect on their own AV at all.. it's partially broken/still in beta. Look at your main through your alt's camera to be sure.
If your using the same jiggle settings for both those AV's, and one has a bigger bewb size, than that's why.. The rebound, friction, and min vel settings are pretty sensative to minor adjustments, and fairly dependant on how big the bewbs are as to whether the effect looks right or not. I laughed at the boob seizure thing, cuz I've seen that.. when I had the rebound and min vel settings close to the same and both set on the high side.

Got mine to jiggle last night....so I danced naked at home...just to see the girls in action! I love it...it's more realistic than those stationary cones in the SL viewer.....
