IRL, I long ago lost my fear of the media, though, so I dun mind goin into those places. I figgure if I dun, then what story will they hear, ya know?
Now THERE is a story worthy of putting on CNN. Not just the inworld one, either. How COOL ... how utterly COOL would it be to do a live interview/machinima of a group of SL kids and a reporter discussing what it's like to be a kid in SL and how they feel about the media coverage!! Talk shows on TV are always doing this sort of format ... wasn't there a network show based on this format, called Project something, some teenager peer group thing?? Oh, man, how completely excellent it would be to be the person entrusted with guiding that discussion!! /me holds out a pretty pink box with a satin ribbon on it I give the idea to you, Mari ... I bet you're pretty well connected. I'd love to see someone make this happen. |

I give the idea to you, Mari ... I bet you're pretty well connected. I'd love to see someone make this happen. The problem is, to most of the media, that is also a non-story. The real "meat" is in the sexual ageplay stuff, because you can get a lot of 'sizzle' off of it. Adults playin' at being kids in SL? Not so much. not saying it's right, jes dat I doubt many reporters would wanna cover it.  Mari (Who wishes she had more groups, so she could do the iReporter stuff)
