I do not think PETA has heard about the canadian geese and the plans to kill them...
PETA does do good you know
I trap spiders and bugs and moths that come inside and release them outdoors, however flys since they come from maggots.... SPLAT!
I had a huge dragonfly the other day in my house banging into things and making a nusance of itself, would you have killed it? I let him go...

I trap spiders and bugs that come inside and release them outdoors, however flys since they come from maggots.... SPLAT!

NO....him I would have figured out how to help outside, he didn't know he was being a nuisance. Things that run from me, with many fast legs, (many being more than 4) those have to go. No scuttling...... |

I consider myself a true liberal -- in about the same way that Frank Zappa considered himself a true conservative. My ideologies have nothing at all to do with either political party.
But being a true liberal I do love creatures. I rescue spiders and once pulled over and saved a huge praying mantis that found herself on the hood of my car. But flies, ticks, fleas, mosquitoes, roaches, and even rats are fair game. I mean, some creatures just have no aesthetic value.

Ceka, thank you for posting the bacon chart. PETA should take up the cause of making sure that all good doggies get bacon. That is a much more noble goal.
For the record, I like to catch flies in mid-air and eat them. I'm not as good at it as my frog friend, though.

PETA is going to just love the latest - the NYC area where that plane had to land in the Hudson River due to the bird strike is going to put the geese to sleep.
(Personally that sounds more peaceful than being sucked into the turbo engine of a jet, but I bet PETA says something.)
