Most of the participants in these forums would have taken pity on him for being an orphan I expect.

What is most scary? Releasing juvenile records is illegal, and can't be discerned in a background check. Both those guys could be anyone's neighbor and no one would ever know.

As to the accusation that we are doing "NOT A THING" for the kids, may I suggest that you have absolutely NO idea what any of us may or may not be doing, in RL or, most probably, in SL.

Perhaps in future you should limit your comments, then, to things within your sphere of competence. Which, granted, would likely restrict your conversation pretty severely.

In the meantime, please feel free to use that useful little "ignore" feature that will appear on my profile. It won't hurt my feelings at all.

Glad to know your feelings didn't/ don't get hurt as my comments were made in general.

As to my comments they are in reference to what I see on a daily basis about sl and them. This thing some of you got going on about saving "the kids" is pretty stale by now. Actually, it got stale back at post 101.

If so much is being done for them (daily ranting about the kids doesn't count, just the actions, please) then pray-tell please enlighten the rest of the forums as to what that may be. Who knows, I may even be persuaded to help out too although I seriously doubt it as I don't lose sleep over "the kids."

First off, no one knows who is behind the alt, whether a minor or not regardless what the profile or the person says. Other then going around snitching...er..filing reports -which some of you live to do- there's nothing anyone can do about it. And again, daily ranting about them doesn't count.

this is the only part i disagree with. i was raised in a single parent home(child of divorce). and my mother MADE time to make sure we were alright. could she be there 24/7? no she couldn't. did she know what we were doing or did when she wasn't around? somehow, she did. how? she had set times for us to be at home and/or at a relatives house after school, especially if she had to work a double shift. if we were not there, our asses were grass. end of subject. only time it was allowed was if we had an after school program. and god help us if we lied about there being one.

in society these days, it's become fashionable to not take responsibility for anything. not even your children. i guess what some are trying to say is it IS the responsibility of the parent to make sure, and to KNOW what their children, ESPECIALLY, in these time, are doing on the computer.

Exactly!!!

And back then a kid committing murder was unheard of. No real jail time involved!!

DAMMIT!!! I wish I had known that back then!! There were some folks that needed a good knee-capping and/or skull bashing.
