Just wanted to know if there is any interest in buying one of the 44 plots now available there on land search or if anyone will be participating in the auction.
Please explain yourself if you are actually planning to do such a thing with a good reason why.
Thanks

At this time, I have no plans to buy any Zindra land, mostly as I have no desire to own *any* Mainland. But depending on how things develop there, I might be willing to lease a parcel from someone, for a business venture.
For now, I have no immediate plans to obtain more land anywhere. I am reducing my land holdings, because my merchant and Builder profits are down to far less than half of what they were 6 months ago.

No. I am, however, going to buy long flowing beautifully embroidered robes and start a line of similarly draped women to conga endlessly around the shops of Zindra singing "Don't Phunk with my Heart". Oily nudity, miniskirts, and straps are so ever-present that I think all the clientele that actually has money will be craving mystery. Line of gawkers starts right here -->

Zero interest here.
Haven't set foot in the area even once; no intent to ever go.

Negative. I am not interested in owning land on Zindra or anywhere else for that matter.

If I'd see 1024 or 2048sq for sale at L$4 or less in my SIM I might bite but other than that, hell no. Since I don't expect to see anywhere near these prices in Zindra I'm not planning on buy any more land anywhere ever. Let the land flipping scum choke on it.

p.s. Remember to post strategically, and alphabetically by height. I looked around. The greed was disgusting. They cannot use the excuse "it's the going rate" when mainland is 1.7 per square meter, and a lot of the land selling for $500 USD for 4000 meters or something similar was not even double prim. A lot of it was rather ordinary. Yes there were some nice lots. But no I will NOT buy at six figure Linden prices. MAYBE if a plot goes on auction and sells for a reasonable price. I expect to pay a bit more, if only for the luxury of everyone there being vetted and PERHAPS thus better behaved. But not the ridiculous and greedy prices on offer now. And I would not have an 'adult' venue or shop. What is really lacking there is 'normal' shopping. Or even, elegant shopping.

It's not selling for that price. It's just listed for that price. No one is going to buy it or any other overpriced Zindra land. Another month of high tier will be the only reward for those trying to fetch those prices.

Okay, it's on sale for that. People here are very picky about words, I notice. The only reason I'm picky on that particular issue is that people are constantly posting to threads pointing out insanely priced land on various sims, but failing to mention that none of the insane prices matter if no one buys at that price. Bay Cities and Nautilus land were listed at extremely high prices, but people were buying at those prices. That was real news. Since then people have either gotten smarter or realized that there's a new sim born every day and no virtual piece of land is worth an exorbitant amount of real money. Even land labeled as Adult (which right now is a detriment since most residents can't even access it because they are not verified).

The land *is* worth what people are paying, which seems to be 9-12L/sq.m. Supply and demand and all that.
I would buy there, if I could find a plot on a relatively residential type of sim at a fair price.

Well, all i can say is that it's showing some residents in thier true colours... It was pretty obvious BEFORE sales were allowed shich parcels were likely to be owned by land flippers, but it's worse when they start charging silly prices.
Just a shame that LL allowed this to happen in the first place, despite all the warnings we tried to give them.

No plans to buy any land there, but if opportunity knocks I may bite. The amount of land for sale there already is a disappointing reflection on those who applied for the swaps just to sell land. A few I guess may be fed up with how LL have dragged their feet and decided it's time to get out of dodge but the rest have taken advantage and stuck two fingers up at the community.

Gomez Well said Gomez. There were numerous people that applied for, and were denied swaps, that SHOULD have gotten them, one of my friends applied for a swap the FIRST DAY and JUST got her land yesterday. LL completely made a clusterf**k of this. And lots of folks saying.., I won't go, no need, turning their nose up cause god forbid they come anywhere near us smutty people, Heh, the same things was said years ago when LL started enforcing the mature VS PG land. (although we all know THAT was an EPIC FAIL cause look where we are now.) I'm perfectly happy on my adult land. ~Brie

But I'm not keeping track of individual parcels to see if anything is actually selling. If they are, they are moving very slowly.
