I'm working on a piece of art at the moment, and one particular part is about the pysché relationship between the 'real' person and the avatar. So I have this deep freezer filled with freebie penises from SL, but until last week I had never had a penis in my inventory or for that matter any kind of sexual apparatus, except a few spanking implements that came in a general freebie box, so I did searches for freebie penises and I was horrified how ugly some of them are, the animal ones that look like raw meat especially, anyhow they do look good in the freezer.

Another thing that annoyed me was the quality of the builds for some of the freebie sex machines, so I have rebuilt one of the most popular ones from scratch. So if anyone wants a pretty decent looking F.C.U.K. machine (spelt wrong on purpose), just ask in world.

But to give a more serious answer, most are likely bisexual men or women in RL, who wouldn't consider the risk or expense of surgery to alter themselves into a "best of both worlds" fantasy, but for whom it is safe and easy to accomplish in SL.

There *is* a large segment of the porn industry devoted to "pretty girls with male equipment under their skirts" (Shemales or Futanari), and to "pretty girls with both female and male equipment under their skirts" (Hermaphrodites), and a smaller segment for "Guys with female parts inside their pants" (Darned if I know, or care, what to call that...). I haven't read all of this thread and I don't know if this has been said, but I think it's far more likely that you (the OP) have seen a lot of guys with boobs and lipstick than a lot of women with dicks.
