I'm starting to wonder if the offense in question was being underage on the Main Grid. I took a stroll through some profiles here and discovered that almost all of them took rather strong, unusual steps to declare themselves as being over 18. This group is either no stranger to underage/ageplay complaints - justified or not - or are truly underage.

Being in such a position where your age gets called into question so much that you have to declare it in strong language in your in-world profiles, it would behoove you to present yourselves as being adults in every interaction you have involving SL. When you type like a tantruming five-year-old with access to a keyboard, it causes people to question your status as adults, and invites unwanted scrutiny.

At the very least, how can you expect us to take what you say seriously if you can't even be bothered to take the time to even attempt to spell properly? I'm very tolerant when it comes to typos, because nobody is perfect and I've made some doozies myself; but this goes beyond simple typos, and leaves me with the impression of someone banging on a keyboard with his fists and hoping words come out.

It does sound like an Age related ban. Past threads have shown those to be the most indignant and drama filled tomes this forum has seen going way back to the one kid who claimed SL got him addicted to online porn, and teens shouldn't be kept from it and went into a depression when he got caught as being undraged and booted out.

It's drama. Thought you'd be able to recognize it's particular smell by now :p

So Mr X being under-aged on the Home Sim?

Don't under-aged players normally just get tossed back into the Teen Grid?

However we have the testimony from "Shagger"which kind of suggests he might be older than a teenager
"yes he could speak his mind and some people dont like that, but he`s v honest and upfront...granted maybe a lil too much ...but that doesnt make him a bad person does it?"

or from Semyon
"He has the sharpest, wickedest sense of black humor of anyone I have ever met. He has challenged me in ways I never expected, "

Ahh poor baby, paybacks a bitch isnt it? We know full well who your "friends" are and what they did. Plus we know who you are as we ran across your name more than a few times tracking those bastards down to the home sim. Hint of the day is, If you hadn't posted it would have been forgotten.

Play with fire, and you get burned and let me tell you. They crossed the wrong MF that time. More people are going down if I heard right. If I were you I'd keep your nose out of it. Right now it seems your rather clean.

Keep it that way.

I looked up Maxum Kingmaker's profile. He was born about two weeks ago... not one other bit of info in the profile.

My guess is that we're dealing with alts, out doing things that they'd rather keep secret.

My advice: find yourself a nice girl and settle down. You could use a little stability.

Maybe looking at the groups of all the incident involved participants on this thread....might give a clue. Are there groups they have in common?

Maxum I agree is an Alt.

My advice would be to find a not so nice girl. Stability is dandy but liquor is quicker.

I think someone is trying to be funny...or just to be an ass.

Just my humble opinion.

The kind of response I've come to expect from Pep.

You fixed what?

You altered what I said in my quote (which should be against the rules of these forums, in my opinion) and then made a snide remark.

Typical Pep talk.

I'm not telling anyone when they can or cannot do anything, and you know that, merely offering that its in poor taste to ass-u-me that someone is lying, or that their friend deserved whatever happened and that you are just too good to have to read their drivel.

So I'll say it again, and stipulate that this is only a suggestion: If you think the OP of any forum thread is lying or misleading, take a moment before you post, take a deep breath and then don't. It makes you look like an ass and gives the forums the bad name they already have.

Just a suggestion tho! Far be it for me to tell anyone what to do.

Handy
You are entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to be completely wrong. You are entitled to make yourself look a politically correct do-gooder who talks about "poor taste" as if you are the supreme arbiter of such things (if it is relevant in these forums anyway) and incorrectly assumes the best of people, and would like to perpetuate the myth that life is full of poor pathetic people who would benefit from others taking their whinging lies seriously. Maybe you are one of those people. I am not. I am with Gregory House MD. Everyone lies!

Pep (Since you have expressed your opinion, I shall express mine and suggest that these forums would be significantly better off if you never posted again.)

PS Whether as Handy, or FaTeke or Fifafan or anyone else that comes from Kentucky . . . yes, I recognise you and I thought that you had given that up.

ah, ok. I usually don't read most of what you write, just the little bits of wits at the end

You know, usually I am not a fan of the "Bertha Twins" school of naming avatars, but I have to say that "Something Something" has a certain je ne sais quoi.
