The problem with such a list is that it does condemn people. And if that list has no way of rebuttal or removal of innocent names, then it is no better than the scum that one would hope would populate it.

i think we should compile a list of people who fall for scams, so we can target them easily and make fast cash.

*Thinking* hmmmm could there be a reason why LL never displays pics from the mainland on their index web site page, but just pics of beautifully terraformed landscapes? Could it be that they're actually aware of the junk problem on the mainland and aren't very proud of it? Then, guys why don't we all find a way to solve this together? Deepest within my heart I luv SL. I just want it to be a place that all can feel comfortable in. Those of us who don't like ad farms and junk, just can't feel comfortable owning land on mainland. Buying land there also means that we have to accept that our land looses in value all the time as mainland turns even junkier as time goes by.

This is why I asked, it is not my intention to lynch the inocent, I mearly wish to give the guilty no place to hide IRL we have laws against such behavior, and legal recourse when it occurs. In here all you get is the "SUCK IT UP" response which to my mind is just as bad.

I know your intentions are good Lucy, but I also think it's just too easy to abuse such a list. Plus, scumbags will simply get alts.

Adfarmers aren't IRL because if you trash your RL land, you trash its value. Here, it is exactly the opposite.

I love the diversity of mainland, and I think people should be free to put up purple glowing nightclubs patrolled by hookers with bad hair next to shacks with outhouses. But I think the Lindens need to impose and enforce some very light zoning. If people stopped buying ad farmers' land and the value of mainland plummeted - I bet the Lindens would do it.
