In the JIRA started about the missing kid avatar projects for SL5B ( http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-1231?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=64119#action_64119 ), near the bottom of the comments, we find this gem: From: someone Just to Clarify, Child Avatars may Apply and the Applications will be 'screened' and if they pass our PG Policy will be accepted, we've already worked with one Resident to accept her application.
BDSM and Gor are non negotiable, for obvious reasons.
The PG Policy includes but is not limited to;
No Nudity (Male or Female, a nipple is a nipple) : D
No Chains, Ropes or being bound. So something considered PG by the American public (and the originators of the term 'PG' in the first place) -- a guy without a shirt -- is not PG by the standards of SL. Huh. I had no idea the whitewashing / brainwashing had gone that far.

I wonder if nipples on dogs, cats, bovines or other non-humans would fall under this policy. I reckon so, since "a nipple is a nipple", after all.

Does this -really- surprise anyone? The Disneyfication of SL is well under way. I wouldnt be surprised if the new default avs come with permanently attached undies and that the great 'announcement' is the unification of the teen and adult grids. If that happens LL can kiss my island tier goodbye. Not paying 300 a month to be told that my Gorean sim has to go PG or risk being censored. I can play Spongebob online for a lot cheaper than what LL charges. Speaking of which, whats the status of the opensim project these days? I'm really looking forward to seeing this take off. Lots cheaper, better stability..sounds almost perfect.

After all, taking a milk cow as an example, (1) it's female and (2) it's a nipple. You know, I guess the only SAFE non-human mammalian avatar would be a platypus, since they don't have nipples; the young suck the milk directly through the mother's abdominal skin. Well - let's think about this. Why *would* it be okay to show a male nipple and not a female? I was always curious about that gender inequality.
Of course, I also always wondered why it's okay for a woman to expose the upper side of her breasts but not the underside. We live in a very peculiar culture.
