Anybody having a problem Logging In?

Lol. For me, give me 30 minutes ingame and something odd happens. That's as sure as can possibly be

Maybe I should call my doctor up? Mwahaha... "doc, pills please, I'm playing SL." "Omg, that's a serious issue you have there, morphine maybe... knock you out when it becomes too painful"

And yea, I was using my friends home to build but he started staring at me awkward because of what/how I build lol. So I took the personal elevator up in sandboxes but that was weird too cause of people with flapping wings coming to push me off for example. Rented myself a sky box out of fly range now
I love building.. Wouldn't bother to play if I couldn't build

Just logged out because search stopped working and I couldn't TP.

My personal fave is the random rotation issue with building. I'll put up a house frame, then cam around and something doesn't look quite right. 180.00 becomes 180.05, etc. Drives me batty (that's when I log off and play FL for awhile.. though I have to admit, the plywood cubes in my rl livingroom are becoming intrusive. I've tried contacting my super for an apartment reset but he sent me some odd "restraining order" script that doesn't seem to work).

Over an hour since Blog entry. Beginning to wonder if that's it for sl for tonight(

Meh..I tried to change my av as she was walking around naked and I couldnt open my invent so thought I would relog....Bad idea that was v.v

Well, I am still in logged in...for now...but search and profiles aren't working.

can a day go by when they don't break the bloody thing ???

Hehe I'm sometimes seriously doubting my mental health because.. well an example: I was shopping for food today and standing in the queue I was staring at the shoes of the woman in front of me thinking hmmm interesting prim use. Like seriously

I'm also thinking that it's probably it with SL for today. 21:40 here..

Running around naked isn't fun. I had a glitch few days back where suddenly all my clothes disappeared while I was in quite a crowded place. I don't know if they disappeared for others too but spooky enough with only me seeing it. Standing in crowd bald and naked felt very awkward. I know it's just internet avatar but I don't like people seeing my pretty av naked lol. Which reminds me. I had a naked dude following me yesterday holding a dick in his hand (I don't know why not in traditional place) and singing "don't worry be happy". I got spooked and tp-d lol.

"WEEK"end has become another four letter word, just like "LIND"ens!!!!!!! SO has "SL" for that matter....
Lindens are slapping their own faces with this mess of a game!!! (Me moves closer n closer to the edge of the cliff and prepares to JUMP SHIP like the already thousands of others who have left this nightmare....
What a sad state of affairs.... just wasn't necessary!! Had such great potential...

I started doing that almost a year ago (in other words, not long after I joined and started building things) but with me it was buildings. I'd see a building and start thinking, "I like that, but I bet it's way too many prims... I wonder how a good use of texturing could cut that down..."

I actually was looking at RL pics with a friend and there was a stone wall in the background and I said "Wow, where'd they get that texture..." *sigh* she doesn't play SL. I'm hoping she doesn't have me committed :/

i`ll bet it`s the voice issue wich has been affecting the entire grid that they got an performance ticket queue of several days

If sl starts haveing odd problems always check the fourems then the blog to see if they have Lindened it again before ya relog..dosent always help but it does some times ;-/

I did that oh good texture thing one day and discovered that the person I said that also plays. A day later I was added to his list and he sent me a texture made based on the thing I commented lol. Now that was funny.

Still down.. eekadibooh...

And I'll bet they say its not voice that was the problem hehe but ya I think it is to lol

I was buying new hair, but it didn't do anything. I tried again, but nothing. After that I tried to wear what I was wearing before shopping, but even that did not work. I logged out in order to try reboot things, but I was not able to log back in.

It just occurred to me it Wednesday!

They forgot to post on the blog that this Wednesday they would be shutting the grid down, as with most other blogs they recently forget to post.

And then wait for it, we'll all log back in and it will say " You will need to update to the new version to continue using SL"

So, that didn't last long for us refusing to switch over.

Any bets on the new version?

We'll all have voice and a new com window. SUPER and we can all come on the forums and start repeat threads from Sunday's original release.

Is there another way to build stuff, besides using prims... ?
Hmm actually I allways wondered how they tortured some of the stuff,
and how they sourced the textures...

In the classic philosophy of nature (Plato,Spinoza, Descartes for example),
there is the concept of corpuscels,
the smallest unit any object can be split into.

Although it really worries me that some thinkers like Kant actually say,
that there is no such thing as a smallest unit of matter...

Does that mean there are no prims,
also if this is true,
what is its implication for practical prim tortures ?

2 hours of forums. Found some interesting threads for reading. Downtime isn't that bad for me afterall lol. Though if it happens again tomorrow, I'm out of threads haha. Time for a library visit soon lol.

Dalarian - he is implying that you can sometimes use less prims for building the same thing with clever texture use. And well less is more in this game, specially with houses and furniture due to prim limits.

About the philosophical thoughts - well it's the ever-existing do we exist at all/what's the meaning of life thing (psst don't tell anyone but the answer to life, universe and everything is 42).

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm about to get a serious case of Tourette syndrome if we don't get an update/open log-ins soon.....
