Had a very abrupt crash. Now I can't log back in and the numbers online seems to be falling. Anyone else having this problem?

I was in-world and found I was stuck on an island with no map, no search etc. My partner is in-world still and has the same problems and the sim he is on is now surrounded by water like they restarted all the regions but his.
Nothing on the blog. No warnings in-world. Oh and the resident figures dropped from 37,000 to 27,200 in seconds. |

Me too - although I like the very useful error message of "Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong. Please check www.secondlife.com/status to see if there is a known problem with the service.", its amusing to find that the grid status says "Second Life is Open. The Second Life grid and the Second Life web site are open. "

From about 15 mins ago, tll about 3 mins ago I was getting the "Despite our best efforts" pop-up window almost immediately upon clicking "Connect".
Now I'm just sort of in log-in progress bar limbo. |

Same here, get the usual "Failure" message...
Says its closed for Mainentance, guess login died again. Oh well gives me a chance to play something else for a while  _____________________
