I used to build at my home until and unfortunate particle accident – to spooge off Trouts post “Jed move away from thar” I was kicked out. So now I just chill and chat with neighbors and build in the sandboxes.

Haha, "unfortunate particle accident" ... fodder for the imagination!

Just another nice example of how SL lets you find the satisfactions you wish for... my first land rental went towards making a grove of trees and flowers to "live" in, while I was going through a sad time. Not exactly a "home" in the sense of a house, but it was just what I needed, both as a comforting project to work on, and a comforting place to sit around in. I had a rug and a couch, some hummingbirds - some nature sound generators, a little quiet raincloud off in the corner that quietly behaved itself and made rainful noises...

I really don't anything of interest except to try on various outfits and talk to my partner when she is on. Nothing to look at here, please move on.

I couldn't agree more..

I have to share this with you because I think you'll appreciate the sweetness of it. I hadn't seen a really good friend in a long time, and this friend is a really sweet girl. She has all kinds of rl things going wrong in her life, and is kind of emotional about it sometimes. She has told me that I help her get through those problems just by listening to her and being sweet to her. She ressed one night at my place (which has a weapons store on the ground floor, and my private area upstairs.) and she was obviously a bit upset. To compound the poor things mood, she was having major computer problems that were making her run into walls, and get stuck in her typing animation too. I'm watching her shuffle all over the place, imagining her crying a little in rl, and I just wanted to reach out and hug her. So I ressed the slow dance balls on the ground, and asked her to get on, then I "edit dragged" us both upstairs to be alone, and just talked with her in IM for hours. She was calmed down, and cheered up by the gesture, and from us talking. It was just one of those perfect moments.

That's sweet. :)

I don't have a private place as of yet, but I will.

SL is all about living my dreams/fantasies. Solanghe is my "Barbie" and she has LOTS of toys...the dream house, the super camper...all that. :p

Seriously though - I rent two parcels - I've always rented cause I like to move alot. One is in a small Scottish fishing village, the other is in on the SL New England coast.

So I have two homes, my main one is quaint and filled with victorian furnishings, the other is a little homey "county" cottage on a hill overlooking the ocean and a lighthouse. *sigh" of pleasure* My cottage is shared by my RL Mom by the way who lives in another state. So we sit by the fire and have coffee together, as we would if we were together in RL. :)

I live in the suburbs in RL....need I say more?

But to be more specific to the OP, I practice building, chat with friends, relax my mind....like everyone else. But the best thing about having a little spot (or two) of my own is having somewhere to go to try on all the skin and hair demos I regularly collect in the ongoing quest to create the perfect "Solange".
