What do you do in a Private Home?

My crab (Sideways XXXVII) has gone to join Ray's in Crab Limbo. I think a recent terraforming accident scared him off. We dug down, thinking he might have been buried, but didn't find a trace of him.

Poor Sideways. I should have cooked him when I had the chance.

I know, huh! I love wasting the hours away with my special someone just slow dancing or whatever, IMing sweet stories back and forth. lovely stuff. Also, it's funny how when you are pretty conservative with who gets to see your pixels, it actually feels pretty intimate to be naked with your partner.

I have still not seen my partner nakey actually.. just haven't been together in that mood yet. And she's a dancer cause it's one of the better paying jobs she could find without content creation skills... and I refuse to see her dance cause I haven't yet seen her naked lol..

But noone sees me nakey cept my girls and partner ^_^

I keep slowdances around my House cause I simply love them.. put on some good music, start dancing with a loved one.. and just be happy ^__^ I could do it forever.. sometimes we don't even talk, but I'm happy.. maybe I'm just odd lol

You're not odd. It's lovely to just dance, and be close to someone. Sometimes, you just want to snuggle

Funny, I never thought about dancing at home. Slow dancing with someone special is an awfully nice way to spend SL time.

I have decided to try out all the available cuddle/snuggle pose balls. My bf is quite a bit taller/wider than I am so some scripts just look hilarious.

While at it, I'm trying to figure out how to keep from floating in mid air, or get stuck in the wall every time you get up again, so playing around with the edit menu is kinda fun.

Of course, some of this you just can't do in public and so we're currently renting.
(I like renting vs buying because it's not that much of a commitment) My current place looks like bozo the clown lives there, with all those pose balls all over the place

Other than that, like many people I like having private space to try on clothes and rez items.

I used to actually have a whole floor of my Home devoted to dancing, back before I remodeled..like..3 remodels ago lol.

I have to share this with you because I think you'll appreciate the sweetness of it. I hadn't seen a really good friend in a long time, and this friend is a really sweet girl. She has all kinds of rl things going wrong in her life, and is kind of emotional about it sometimes. She has told me that I help her get through those problems just by listening to her and being sweet to her. She ressed one night at my place (which has a weapons store on the ground floor, and my private area upstairs.) and she was obviously a bit upset. To compound the poor things mood, she was having major computer problems that were making her run into walls, and get stuck in her typing animation too. I'm watching her shuffle all over the place, imagining her crying a little in rl, and I just wanted to reach out and hug her. So I ressed the slow dance balls on the ground, and asked her to get on, then I "edit dragged" us both upstairs to be alone, and just talked with her in IM for hours. She was calmed down, and cheered up by the gesture, and from us talking. It was just one of those perfect moments.

I remember once shooting at some food on my land, when much to my surprise, up from the ground came a bubblin' crude.

That's right, Texas Tea.

Unfortunately, there's no market for virtual oil, even with today's gas prices in RL. It turns out vehicles run on scripts, which do quite well without fossil fuels and internal combustion, so all I got was a mess on my land and no trip to Beverly Hills.

Now I've converted my home into a coal strip mining operation. Most of my sales this time of year go to people who want to put it into stockings and send it to their enemies. I've also hired a bunch of children to work for 3L/20minutes rolling cigars out of genuine Cuban tobacco that I grow in the back of the property - a piece of land I like to call "Cuba". We're branching out next month into knock off Nike's and FuBu shirts.

So, that's what I use my private home for. I can't do it on commercial property, because the SL Police might get wind of it and arrest me.

Oh, and I use it for sex as well. Well, I would if I could get the chloroform script to work and get anyone close enough to my windowless van to drag them into it and drive them over to my sweatshop/mining operation. Otherwise, my chances aren't that great.

Dammit, Trout, it's not Friday yet! And you owe me ANOTHER keyboard, this one's even stickier than the last one.

Lindal - I've purchased stock in the various companies that make keyboards - Logitech, Saitek, etc. I like to think of this as helping my investments. When I retire early, it will all be worth it.
