What do you do in a Private Home?

I am curious, what do people do with/on their private land? How do you get enjoyment from it? I'm not talking about those who set up shop etc., I'm talking about those with no commercial use of their property.

I sit and chat with friends, try on clothes, listen to music, watch TV,redecorate,try on outfits, watch the sunsets, try on outfits....

pixel sex?

Really private sandbox?

I get my enjoyment from my land mainly by building and decorating.

I did not build my house from scratch, but I made significant changes to it.

Then I decorated it with furniture, paintings etc.
And later I placed a number of other buildings and items on my land.
It's a continously ongoing process.

Much like a dolls house in RL if you will.

The process of being creative, decorating and constructing is what gives me pleasure and entertainment on my property.

Apart from that, I have friends come over for a chat and such.
I like showing them what I have done with my land.

Then I use it as my base for trying on new clothes etc.

re-arrange furniture until it's exactly where I want it to be, down to the pixel. Then realize it's really not centered on the wall so adjust it again. Then notice that that one picture really should be just a tad lower, or higher.

Does that count?

I use it exactly like my RL home. Live in it, Have friends over, decorate. dress. garden, yes have pixel sex lol (quite enjoyable with the right person), listen to the surf, walk around and enjoy what I've done with it, chat (not the phone, but chat), sail at times, visit neighbors (the good one lol), lay on the couch and dream, hang on the roof and watch the sun and stars, get excited about new things I bring home. Really, it's so similar it's scary at times. I get a huge amount of enjoyment out of being there.

My actually Hom in SL, not myu shop (Its above my home..)... lesse.. I use it to talk to my Family in private, I test sculpties on the roof, keep a little garden there, take newbies there to help them with their clothes and kill..err...initiate them....*cough*

I use it to bring friends to talk, to dance, to cuddle, for sex (OMG! SEX!? yeah.. its nice sometimes, alright?) I use it as a place to just sit and think, to read lengthy notecards, to change clothes if I'm feeling shy..

I use it for a lot of things ^_^

Build on it.

Love it.

Think it's forever.

See something new to do.

Raze it.

Rebuild.

This is why my inv is so huge.

do nothave a home, only have a store, used to have a home, and when I had a home it was rarely used

I have an arcade at my store, that might be considered home I guess, sit and chat or play games there

Right now, just being there is a challenge as I can't seem to stay connected.

A private home? It's odd you didn't ask what do you do in YOUR private home. In other people's homes I like to look around and try to find secret areas. Sometimes I look at what's on the sexbed menu. Just looking! I will also look at all the pictures on their wall and sometimes I'll look up the owner's profile.

As long as they don't multiply like wabbits, too....

I use my house for...virtual living. Being happy I don't have to clean it (or any cat litter boxes) too.

Would it matter? I'd just get tp'd home...

i like the idea of it being a private sandbox, i use mine for everything, always seem to have visitors over latly to sit and chat at the bar, listen to music, annoy the crocodile, shoot a wolf with my bow and arrow.

hell i live in the suburbs in RL, how else am i gonna own a brew pub next to a swamp.

I get work done, whether it's preparing for my events at the club where I work or building for my store. I get full privacy from my home that I wouldn't in other places.

It also allows me a place to chill out and chat with friends. Again, when we don't necessarily want to be with a crowd. Sometimes will have friends over to watch a movie on tv like MST3000 or have a party on the beach.
