I never said anything about taking away the feature of controling ability to see the lines. You made that up. Wait... what? What would the point be of making banlines visible from the inside if the owner can just turn off visibility? I don't get what you're asking for, if that's the case. Are you asking for banlines to be visible from the inside, or for people who use banlines to be restricted from travelling freely anywhere else on the grid? Seriously. It seems Eli's whole justification for turning the tables and having the person who puts up ban lines also find themselves unable to cross the border, is thus: If you've made it not acceptable for me to cross from my property (or anybody else's) to yours because you've put up ban lines, then it is also fair that it is unacceptable for you to have the ability for you to cross that boundary yourself. What affects me affects you equally. That seems to be Eli's conception of fairness. |
