which is the best store for female skins?

i think redgrave and laqroki are good but i want to see what other think.

I got my first skin at Horizon and was very pleased with it. After I changed my shape about a year ago, I found it no longer suited me. The next skin I bought was from Mela's, and I haven't found another that suits me better. I've found I like Sin Skins, too, though they don't suit me as well as Mela's.

I like Belleza...they are a little like Redgrave, but without looking so stylized that everyone says, "hey, you went to Redgrave, huh?"

And lately, I really like Symphony. A very very nice balance of good features.

I recently discoverd *Cross* - very nice with interesting makeup choices! Also they have some pretty awsome hair styles too! Adora Skins/Shapes - lots of choices, great prices and good quality for the newbies

E-gads...I think I probably have one from every maker at this point.....I love Detour....CS (celestial studios) Laqroki........Pixel Creations......Skin Within......among others. But I was spending so much on skins I finally decided to get serious and make my own......now I just wear mine.

It's much cheaper.

I am amazed at all the beautiful skins available now......and one of the best is still the freebies from Eloh Eliot available at the Gnube store~!!

Issigonis has some nice ones. May Skin has one with the cleavage enhancer. Skywalker has some new ones too. I just bought a Curio set yesterday. Can't seem to get away from them!

The best skin is the one you feel an attachment to and feel at ease in....

On a more literal answer, try Nomine: it's divine make-ups, and Munchflower Zaius is wonderfully classy overall ...

What alts? Seriously....if I ask about something in here and someone happens to make exactly what I'm looking for.....I don't take offense to that. There are so many talented creators among the forum members....and if I ever offer anything to anyone of mine....I offer it free. I'm not looking to 'get rich quick' off my forum buddies, or off SL in general....that's just way too much pressure for something that's supposed to be one of my 'down time' activities........
One trick I have used to find cool stuff is go to Xstreet and search....I have found Soooo many things that i never would have found in-world because I would not have even known to look for them in classifieds. most of the time the Xstreet listing will have a SLURL to go directly to the shop in world. Actually.....that's how I found some really fantastic skins. I see the same skin makers being named over and over again.......but there's way more out there then folks realize......and many have surpassed the most popular skins we always hear about. It's worth doing a browse in Xstreet every so often just to find some of those little gems.....especially new designers who haven't advertised heavily yet or just don't have the marketing savy to get themselves noticed.

I've also come across amazing skins just by TP'ing around to cool sims and finding funky little shopping areas..... not all the best stuff is in a huge well known area.....some treasures ya really gotta hunt for.

I tried my hand at skin making and its very hard, im not plugging my shop but I see so many redgrave skins... it seems people dont know of others...

however, I do have one redgrave I like and wear for certain clothes I make..

but my fav is pxl and the freckles. make up is awesome.
