Will there be cake? This greatly influences my decision. If both events have cake, which one has the best cake? _____________________

I'll go, but I'll probably squish my avatar's height down really low first. Not a child av, just knock the height slider way down. I'm sure it will probably look atrocious, but style has never been my strong suit.

Clearly I haven't read enough (possibly even 'any') of the announcements. No, I'm not going to ask what SL5B is, I am aware of that. What I don't get is the significance of SLB5 and child avatars, is there some sort of issue here, have I missed something ?

If I do (and it's a big IF), I might come with a sign that states: "Define irony: Linden Labs "respectfully declining" entire communities within SL from exhibiting in an event themed on the communities within SL."
I will however gladly attend the 'fringe' one that the SL kids have created and the sign will stay hidden during that time ![]() _____________________

If I had a kid avatar I'd go as the kid, and make a point of standing next to adults. Particularly Lindens. And most especially Everett Linden if he had the temerity to show up. But I only have adult avatars, so I won't be going because the stupidity, the arbitrary discrimination, and the bad faith shown by agents of LL has left too much of a bad taste in my mouth. . Well, I can recommend you to visit Kids5B first, we have an Adult-to-Kid Transmogrifier, and after using it, you will completely outfitted as kid avatar and you'll be able to visit SL5B as a kid ![]() I will visit SL5B, wearing my Kids5B staff shirt and group tag, lol. No matter how many stupid decisions were made about SL5B, those who exhibit there are not to blame. They put lots of time and creativity in their projects, and I'm looking forward to it. I've lost track of the SL5B spat actually - but is it making it kids only/PG really such an issue?
Anyway if it means we have to make child avies then why not? It will be fun to be a kid for a day. It seems crazy to exclude adult av's though /me tries to remeber what me was like as a kid... oh yeah a precocious brat much like I am today only 130 years older |

It's probably just me, but can someone explain what's supposed to be the appeal of SL5B?
![]() I just went for a peek and it seems as interesting as randomly flying across the mainland and looking at things... which just isn't terribly exciting to me . |

I have a piece of political art for the KidsB5 celebrations if anyone has space for a 3 prim piece. Any one want to consider showing it? If after you see it you think it's crap just say you can't show it. If anyone's brave enough to put it on their stand at SLB5 they are welcome to do so also.
Any interest, send me a message and I'll send the image to you in world. Even if you just want to see it, please ask for a copy. _____________________

"I" can't go, because I promised Bonni (my kid alt) that she could. I don't dare refuse her, she's spiteful.

I also have the following up within it. http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=285323 For that matter, here's a few other things I've spotted around SL5B http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=285308 http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=284742 http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=284746 http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=284738 http://sluniverse.com/pics/pic.aspx?id=284559 Oh, and one more. Maybe we should post someone at the TP landing point to hand out little avatar shapes to everyone that arrives to make that a reality. (^_^) I like that idea ![]() _____________________

I doubt I will be attending. It will more then likely be lame as the concierge party was. You would think with all the talent in SL...LL could/would contract for some neat party favors rather then odd freebies.

I have a display there soI will be on Dwell at least for the two week period. It was like pulling teeth with pliers to get the ever-chnaging volunteer leader team to assist with getting the exhibit up though. Aggravation aside - I participated last year so I will again.
On a side note:It is really sad that the EVENT ORGANIZERS in the SL5B group have all hidden themselves in the group so none of the participants can see any leadership titles or people in the SL5B Group. 31 Officers and 8 Owners hiding. Some even Lindens. Quite sad. . _____________________

I wonder about the timeframe when SL5B became LL5B?
