Jesus Christ, Rebecca, can't you just accept that some of us actually ENJOY being here, despite the wonkiness of the whole system? What do YOU get out of pissing in everyone's coffee with your constant rants and ravings? Please, just leave us in peace to enjoy SL... the times it is working.

One would never guess that, considering that not a single person in this thread, attacking Chaos, seems to be aware that SL was down on and off, for many for days, when Chaos started this oh so helpful thread.

I'm coming to the conclusion that many forum people are so self-absorbed they really don't care about SL's future at all. The mob mentality of some people on the forum is pretty funny.

I'm at the point where I sold my land and am only logging in to pay rent. Waiting to see what the new CEO does.

In the meantime, other Virtual Worlds are being created and selling sims for less then a hundred dollars and even for free.

I know, you like LL's great customer service along with it's great instability...and the kool aid is so tasty.

I always thought I was tough on Sl and the Lindens, and sometimes even felt bad about hammeringthem. But I read Rebecca's posts and I feel much better. Is that being self absorbed ?

How do you know? Did LL hire you to conduct official exit polls? Because pretty much everyone I know is still around...they're bitching about the problems and maybe logging in a little less, but they haven't left.

OK- not that I want problems mind you - but honestly - what problems exactly? Last week around 2 am my time SL was down. I realize that's bad for the folks that are not in my time zone- but I imagine sometime it will be the other way around. However- other than the skirts that have a mind of their own- I have not had any problems (/me crosses fingers). When I started in '06, I couldn't stay on more than five minutes. Went out got more RAM - all good- sort of - I still crashed and had serious BSOD issues for awhile- but honestly other than the skirt thing and the IM thing with the current mass release (I use the RC one now with no probs at all) I haven't had any problems. And I run SL on a sub $600 Dell laptop so it isn't some screaming hot machine.

I agree with the others here saying basically, we love SL and put up with the difficulties as they come - we get on the other side and its back to smooth sailing. As for other virtual worlds - take a look around- not one can compare with SL.

I know. I do bother too much..... you see that people here, hammer individuals that post here all the time. Personal attacks are fine apparently...... but start blaming LL .....fighting words to the kool aid drinkers. How dare someone get upset at LL for theft, transaction problems, poor service, instability, devaluing property, meaningless age-verification, total negligence, thousands of dollars stolen from people...etc.

At any rate. If I didn't care about SL I wouldn't bother at all and I will care only as long as it takes, to see if the new CEO is going kick their butts or not.
