alright, got a pic of my finally finished character

2-legged, 2-tailed bi pedal furry child avatar.

i was askign those questions because i was planning what my avatar would look like. if everyone was objective to any of those, i wouldn't have done it. but it seems most of ya'll don't mind it.

Oh.. I am against that. Forget what I said earlier.. this look has got to go!

Looks cute. :) I think you made a fine choice. I won't venture to say that nobody will give you crap at times, but just remember what my dear grammy always said: "F**k 'Em!"

Hope to see you around sometime. :)

no clue who that is, but bright green/black has always been my favorite color combo.
also, this is a HEAVILY modified version of some avatar from a vendor. i got a custom coloration from the maker, completly ditched the tails, got a true tail, double it, made the claws alot longer, altered the body to look more child like, edited some of the colors to make it look better, changed colors on the chest fluff, changed a few textures, alot more.....

it took a long time, but it was worth it imo :)

EDIT:
btw, think i can get into SL5B with this avatar? not have an exhibit, just go to the events, visit, etc.

Torley Linden.

Check out torley.com for some great tips on SL.

And you should be OK at the SL5B. They had a no nipple rule, but I don't think that is apparent on your avie, right?

Check this thread for the SLkids celebration. It would be a great place for you to meet other SLKids and make new friends. :)

sorry forgive me, I musta missed the part where somebody held a gun to your head. I'm glad you gathered alot of attention for the unveiling of your av. All that aside, it actually is a nice av IMO. The colors work with the kid aspect. kudos.

Don't worry so much about what people think - you'll never make everyone happy, so don't even try! Another thing you'll notice is that we like to keep discussions going long, long, after they've outlived their usefulness! Have you seen the "just ignore and let this thread die" thread lately? :D

That is a very cute avatar, but of course, I'm a bit disappointed that you didn't become a doggie like me!

I am still a little baffled over why the "too much sex in public areas" questions had to be mixed into the original poll if it was about creating this avatar, though.

People are really hung up on kid avatars.

Sadly I think this is the result of the Sexual Ageplay ban.

Too many Residents are unable to conceptualize a use of Second Life that doesn't include sex,

And thus assume all kid avatars are secretly into sexual ageplay.

The ban has simply given them what they feel is an official endorsement from LL to pre-judge Kid Avs..

------------------------------------

I am not saying I disagree with the Sexual Ageplay ban, I am just saying its pretty sad how ignorant some residents are.

Even the Lindens don't seem free of this prejudice, witness the 5th birthday shenanigans.

---------------------------------------

To the original poster and those who think like them -

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

Kid avatars are not RL kids.

They are allowed to "SEE" any content your Adult Avatar is allowed to see.

They just aren't allowed to participate in anything sexual with their kid avs.

Theres a wide gulf of difference between "SEE" and "Participate"

my opinion really has nothing to do with the ban, it just weirds me out whenever i see a 12 year old girl talking like a retarded 3 year old

full well knowing that theres a good 60% chance the person on the other end is a 55 year old fat ex biker dude with a skull on his arm :)

so its ok to watch snuff/rape/whatever films since you didnt participate ?

agree too.
imo, no computer programs of any sort shoudl be used for their own fantays sex land. however, i do like the idea of meeting a RL partner through games.

I prefer to meet RL Partners in RL, but to each his own. Ypu really should stop worrying about what other people do in SL and enjoy it yourself.

Yep, prolly 'cause it's sex that leads to conceptualizing. Innit?
