i remember taking a lot of time on my profile in my first year..trying to be as deep as possible..then the next year was the don't bring me your drama phase which seemed to set off more drama than anything lol

this year it's show how silly it was for two years profile time..
i think i have something in my pics that says kiss my butt cause i like it..
and the famous,the real me pick a lot have..i put in mine..i wike to dwaw wiff kwans
and something like why be tied up in drama when you can be tied down in fun on my front page..
it's been a while since i looked really hehehe

i never really got into having sisters and families in sl or having a reason to put any goofy hunting someone down threats or going to the ends of the earth for anyone crazyness..
i saw how easy people changed families and sisters and brothers like they did partners.so no way is that stuff worth even getting close to..drama was bad enough without all the relatives

now days if someone is broken up or mad about some lover or sister..My sl crashes or someone just happened to stop by out of the blue in RL..i just can't take relationships serious for some reason in there anymore..people do all this claiming of meeting the best friends in their whole life or thisis the only person that understand me stuff..then one little thing goes wrong and they are mortal enemies and out to get revenge any way they can..it's just too crazy hehehehe

a good long break from SL can really make it a lot easier to just say NO to all these people that would die for you or kill others for you..
instead of that..lets just go play slingo huh?

I swear, one of these days I'm going to put something like that in my profile picks, just for kicks.

Is it considered harrassment and against the TOS for somebody to put a pick about me in their profile saying how fake and phony i am and to stay away from me at all costs? And Is this something that I should/could report? I had thought about reciprocating and placing an even more evil pick about her....however, thinks that will start a war and i am just here to have fun What do you people think - am i making too much out of this?

Welcome t the forums- I don't actually know if it is against TOS- I do believe it has been stated that Profiles must be PG- though it's been so long that I read the thing- Personally, I would ignore it - it only burns you up. I had someone for a while declare their undying love and that was jsut as annoying to be honest considering we had parted ways long before. Fortunately after asking nicely he removed it. Good luck- if worse comes to worse- bury this you and take on an alt.

That is so lame. Some people think that if they wrote what they think are "cool" things in the profile, they'll get more attention or something.
I've also come across people whose profiles say things like:
- "No, I don't like you and never will like you"
- "Read my picks carefully before IMing me"
- "Make sure you are well dressed before IMing me [because I'm an upstart snob]"
- "I only talk with people who [some really stupid requirements]"
etc, anything that puts the person in a really high position like a king or queen or something, and everyone else needs "permission" to be talking to them.
I'm not sure what this attitude is called, I like to think that they are trying to act a bit "professional", but in a really lame and pathetic way.
Some shop owners are like this as well, and I'm not sure what goes on in their mind but wouldn't it hurt their business if they were unfriendly to customers? I came across someone just a few days ago (won't name him, though I really want to); I sent him a notecard regarding a broken vendor in his shop. He accepted the notecard, and didn't bother replying even though he was online. So I messaged him this time, and yet was ignored -again-. Lol some business the moron is running...


Yes it is, I am 100% sure. Any mention of any avatar's name that the person is uncomfortable with (doesn't even have to be an insult) will alert the ever-so-sensitive skin of LL. You could report her but NEVER write an evil pick or anything since you will get suspended if she reports you. How do I know this? Because I was the victim of this once. I wrote an indirect message about ending a friendship with a particular person (that's not an insult is it? It's more like a farewell FFS), I got reported because that bitch felt "uncomfortable" with the farewell I wrote, and my account was suspended for 24 hours.
Now I know why some people have blank profiles. LL won't have anything to pick on.

I've been noticing a lot of love for Satan in bios lately. I friended someone recently before reading their full bio, and found all this Satanist stuff hidden in their picks. Not for me. No thanks.

It's best to report the person to LL then have no further contact with them. As weird as it may seem, if this person can continue to bother you and you respond personally, in their mind, that's a relationship. It's a rule that applies to stalkers, too. People who do this kind of stuff may only be immature, but they can also be dangerous. And you mention they know RL info about you.

A few years ago I got involved in a bit of over the top roleplaying on an abandoned webcomic's chat page, which included an army of cybernetically enhanced ninja invertebrates and a sidekick who solved personal problems with an axe. It was pretty funny, we ended up with at least a dozen people playing along.

If people can't think up better over-the-top threats than the ones I've seen mentioned here, all you can do is pity them.

lol i used to see these kinds of profile pick things all the time working in the clubs.
i always had to check profiles for groups and things to make sure the drama was not moving into peoples profiles..

there were so many of these..i will hunt you to the ends of the earth and use all the powers of my inner being to make you suffer to the ends of time if you hurt my friend.hahahaha

then a week later they would be enemies and someone else was their friend they would hunt everyone down for..most times it was in the families people made there or the cliques..

everyone was someones mother or daughter or dad or son..
and there was always some drama going on with them all the time..

i just found them funny and as long as they were not putting other peoples names in there from the club in a hurtful or drama creating way,we didn't mind..

when they would do some bashing is when i would say..you can't be in the club if you are gonna threaten using names..now take it out or i'll have to take your tag..

Those who claim to love Satan just don't get it. Satan means "my enemy." If you're a follower of Lucifer (as most self-proclaimed Satanists are truly Luciferists), then Satan to you is Jesus Christ. So as a follower of Lucifer, there's absolutely no way at all that you love Jesus.
