Ok, lets get this started. Who wants to plan and promote the March Alt party? Contact me or Brenda and we will set you up.

i'd help do it, but there is no way I can even think of doing it on my own. I wouldn't have a clue where to start.

Where's Alt been? Maybe he can help. BTW, I will not be able to attend the Party next week, but I will be there in spirit.

If you see very ancient guy named Dagon Grimm from 2003 that is my alt but I don't let him out much and often weekends my boyfriend is keeping me off line. I do have few other unknown alts
I wear skirts but only as parts of a jackets. No tutu's though but have worn few velvety bra shirts and fishnet stockings before

You can get some nice retro dresses that would work for Big Band at Ivalde and Bossa Nova. While most of Bossa Nova dresses are shorter and/or more casual, I know there is at least one retro formal there and know I've seen lots of long dresses at Ivalde.

Is the alt party the one where the men are going to wear dresses? I'll be sure to come to that, because I have a weakness for men in kilts. *swoon*

But then I'll be able to guess. Besides, I think she was only humoring me.

I haven't arranged any parties or events in SL before, but I would be more than willing to assist Claire with it.

Another idea for an alt-type party: Best noob contest. (also much much cheaper for people who have to create a fresh alt to play )
No skin or wig wearing allowed and all clothes/attachments have to come out of a freebie box from Noob Island.

Cool, Stormy and Claire are down as organizing the Alt party. They can set the date for sometime in March (or even another date in Feb.) Give them all your ideas. Sounds like they are gonna have their hands full.

Jazz,swing??? I just bought a 1000L dress for this party. I dont care if I look stupid and out of place,Im wearing it.

You won't be the only one Rioko, I love the dress I bought and I plan on wearing it! I just need a few accessories and I'm ready to Party!!

I suppose you could create one just for the event. That would certainly make the contest more difficult.

I think someone suggested a masquerade ball to me last night for the alt party, because it will be like everyone is wearing a mask. I like the idea of a noob one too.

i suppose this means I will have to go shopping with my alt? lol. She's really picky too.

Hey did we ever agree on the BMP (Best Management Practices - sorry, I'm at work) when someone shows up at a party in the same outfit as you do? I know it doesn't matter to some (and probably to none of the guys ) but I think there was some discussion about this.

Also, Chris and whoever is on the decorating committee, PULLLLEEEEEEEEZE can we do something about the floor???
It hates prims, it really does. Can we cover that thing up with a nice piece of shiny hardwood or maybe some mulch?

After many complaints and death threats from the ladies, the floor was returned to it's owner last night.
