That would be so much fun.
Everyone who is planning to come as an alt could post "my alt will be there" in a dedicated thread here. Then we all show up as our alts and chat with each other.
So weird, I love it. And I would come. Well, not *me*, but - you get it. Count me in...MY ALT WILL BE THERE! (I have an alt even Claire dosnt know about! Shhhhhh!)

Oooh Madhu, that would be a great idea.......
We could fill out a notecard....so and so's alt is so and so's main and so on and then turn it in to someone.......could even make a prize for the person who makes the most correct connections............

From: Nika Talaj ...It is Mature land, but since we have child AVs visiting us as well, the code of conduct is PG-with-risque-joking unless there's a specific event... An alt party sounds like fun. Unfortunately I'd need to create another alt for it. All my alts are known, at least the ones still alive. I've killed four alternate accounts since I started Second Life, and the three accounts I have left are known (two accounts died quick deaths, problems getting them started, two alts lasted for a while but their purpose ended). Actually, for alt night I could just show up as Lexxi.

You'll have to use L0l1ta True... And about 100 other imaginative alternatives. (^_^) I can only imagine what the Gothic Lolita community is going through. (^_^)y

hm... the alt game sounds fun, though I may have to change my alt's profile if I do that. In the first line it says "I am an alt of Claire Silverspar" lol. i probably won't though, her dress sense is nothing on me, I have all he good stuff. Not sharing... lol Plus you could spot me miles away, i sit on the same stool everytime and always spout tonnes of lols. maybe I should fire up my spare puter, i have had both alts running before now at the same time - at the hangout too lol. It is really hard to keep up 5 conversations as two people by the way. Especially when you are talking to yourself... Could be fun figuring the alts though. Gah! only 1 post away from 1000, I really need to stop posting nonsense...

I have to ask. I must be naive. Why can't Lolita be used in advertising?

From: Bradley Bracken Ah. Never saw the movie and such or I probably would have got it. It's about an old man who has the hots for a 12 year old girl named Lolita, and she sort of leads him on. Those Russian novelists....

For every day, there is no dress code. There party I believe is going to be a 1940's Big Band Theme, but even so, everyone is always welcome no matter what they wear. Besides there will plenty of people who can probably hook you up wit an appropriate outfit, don't worry about it.

40'S THEME? YIkes..........I had better re-read the invite. I just bought my dress for the event, it's gorgeous, but not 40's appropriate. Thank goodness the invite was done in advanced, I have time. Know of any great period shops anyone?

Not verbatum, as I'm at work, but it did mention music and said come dressed in your gowns or whatever you have on. I think....

Verbatim: From: The Invite Please join us on Feburary 16 at the Forum Cartel Hangout for dancing under the stars to big band, swing, and jazz music! The party begins at 3:00 pm SLT, and we will have a live DJ from 5:00 - 9:00. Wear your formals, your zoot suits, or come as you are to enjoy some great dancing, music, and fun.
See the attached notice and feel free to bring a friend! Now I have to teach my clumsy alt to dance.

Wait, so have we declared the Feb 16 party to be the come-as-your-alt party? 'Cause when I said the alt party sounded fun I was just speaking more generally; it doesn't have to be this particular party.

The party on the 16th will be formal/big band. Let's plan the Alt's party for March. Even though it would be a fun theme for April Fool's.
If you don't have formal wear come on and attend. We will fix you up. If you don't want to wear formal, come on anyway, we really don't care how you are dressed.
