ok, well, it turns out i didn't need to initiate all that hostility. things went well. i think this is the smartest thing i have ever done. i wish i had done it sooner... say, 8 months ago..... but i didn't know. i didn't know.

he welcomed me with a smile, handshake, and kind demeanor. he listened attentively to my opener. he responded at the appropriate times during my 10 minute speech, but did not interrupt me or derail the conversation. he said what i wanted to hear, without prompting, throughout the conversation. he explained things i didn't know. according to him, he was falsely accused about some things, for which he will go to the accuser about....things i have been angered at him for since last October. he apologized for several things, some unnecessarily but he seemed compassionate so i accepted them... and the apology was the only real thing i was after. the wrongs cannot be undone. but i have closure. and i really only needed that. so bless him for not being what i was expecting. it has been a good day afterall.

he is going to write me a nice letter of recommendation that i can keep for future use, should i require it.

you're saying to yourself "oh, he's gooooood". and i agree. but whatever eases my mind. i need this to be over, and so it is. the end.

i can't catch up with this thread. i think you all made over 200 posts in the couple of hours i was gone. so i have to condense.

i saw lots of food scroll by.

i saw At-At's and At-As's. and those little furry Ewoks (ugly critters). i made a riddle contest that had Star Wars in it. seeing that we have so many fans, that would be a find addition to this thread. i will dig that up and begin the contest. LOL

gosh, thanks all for the positive postings. i've sort of abandoned all my old haunts (except one other) where i used to whine and cry, so you guys got stuck with me today. LOL

i'll be ok. moving on. does this mean i can't be a permanent homemaker now? cuz i am raelly starting to like this stay-at-home business.
