Got one of the sapphire necklaces a couple days ago- gorgeous stuff  As for desserts... I am not into sweets- Oysters- fresh and raw- that is all the appetizer and dessert I crave usually. I always wanted to be rich enough that I could call up a woman for a date and say "let's go get some Itialian food. Bring your passport." We will need two of these for flight over. I remember as a gimmick one year, some ketchup company (I think it was Heinz) came out with different-colored ketchup. I saw like a dark green ketchup, and a sort of teal colored ketchup. I think there were purple and orange ketchups too. The flavor was allegedly unaffected, but I don't know for sure, because I never ate the stuff, even on a dare. yep....made bread look mouldy lol. for Halloween one year they released it. I used to have it on crisp sammiches lol. they have purple and gren and blue and allsorts lol, but I remember the green.....tasted exactly the same. made us all hyper though....all the E numbers. _____________________

Cute poem Gabriele! This Trout Certification thing is really a phenomenon. The consenus has been that it is really good fun, harmless fun! I never understood it myself. My thoughts on the matter have been in gestation for about nine months now, but I guess I should have aborted thinking about it at an earlier stage. But this Rating thing isn't quite all that it seems, not quite harmless. It has the power to damage relationships, break SL partnerships and destroy marriages. Not all by itself, but it is enough to tarnish, and make cracks appear that open into the widest gulf. When you find that your partner suddenly has a massive collection of expensive lingerie, has prioritised time into looking for it, selecting it, buying it and having photos taken to help her get rated as a SLut, it creates a seed. When the photos are taken in a studio that is on a sim owned by a RL friend of 15 years, and that is how you find out about it, the seed is planted. When you have to look to the Forum to find out what your partner is saying about "a friend", the seed is nourished and watered. A story is told there, and SL can allow for only one side to be heard. The story has grains of truth, but also spin and misinterpretation and critical ommissions, and then a few white lies can creep in. Even the teller begins to believe them. But there are two sides to every story, and one has never been told. Are we sitting comfortably? Good. Then we shall begin.... It all started one day when I found myself in a watering hole just off Drifter's Passage... a semi-naked girl was laying prone on a barrel... Now if that sounds oddly familiar... I guess it is because things go in cycles... and when you reach that point, whatever happened will happen again, and again, and again... VVI think you are right, it is a phenom and one I am happily part on like so many others I think that all things in life have a positive for some and negative side for others. Eating utensils have the potential to kill and yet we would not be without them. We should not throw out the good because it has the potential for harm, as in all things it is the people who use them that are reponsible for whether they turn out good or bad. _____________________

ok, well, it turns out i didn't need to initiate all that hostility. things went well. i think this is the smartest thing i have ever done. i wish i had done it sooner... say, 8 months ago..... but i didn't know. i didn't know.
he welcomed me with a smile, handshake, and kind demeanor. he listened attentively to my opener. he responded at the appropriate times during my 10 minute speech, but did not interrupt me or derail the conversation. he said what i wanted to hear, without prompting, throughout the conversation. he explained things i didn't know. according to him, he was falsely accused about some things, for which he will go to the accuser about....things i have been angered at him for since last October. he apologized for several things, some unnecessarily but he seemed compassionate so i accepted them... and the apology was the only real thing i was after. the wrongs cannot be undone. but i have closure. and i really only needed that. so bless him for not being what i was expecting. it has been a good day afterall. he is going to write me a nice letter of recommendation that i can keep for future use, should i require it. you're saying to yourself "oh, he's gooooood". and i agree. but whatever eases my mind. i need this to be over, and so it is. the end. _____________________
