For economy and a bit more protection he could have bought my pride and joy for $1K USD. I hated to give her away so cheap.

Did you know that the slightest extra hard turn of the steerintg wheel in a VW, followed by an extra hard correction turn, can send it spinning in tight fast circles down the interstate? 16-yr olds are not very good drivers.

You can do the same thing in my truck, although you'll be spinning on a completely different axis. More roll than yaw.

You can do that with any car. I did it Sunday in my race car on a dry track.

Brenda - What? I can't pop wheelies and burn out in parking lots? Of course I'll be careful. I'm not usually in a hurry to get anywhere. If I were, why would I take a motorcycle? I want the bike for the mileage and for the fun of riding it.

And for my 1000th post and my 300th in this thread...

Why Trout REALLY wants the motorcycle.

Could you imagine hitting a deer or a moose while on a bike? Yes, definitely wear a face-helmet. Are there moose there where you go fishing?

hehe,
My ex-father-in-law pegged a deer while we were out riding a long time ago. It was on the twisting back road along the Devil's River near Del Rio, Texas. If you have ever been there you know the one. We went up the road doing betwen 80 to 140 mph, depending on the turns and straights. We were just tooling back after a few beers doing the speed limit of 50 mph when a deer basically hit him. Killed the deer, totaled th bike and my father-in-law walked away with just a bad case of road rash but otherwise in tact. Ndless to say, we quit racing bikes down that road. It's a wonder we survived running that road at all considering we were usually well past legally drunk when we did.

we have a HD Heritage Softail Classic. I have a shiny black (DOT certified) helmet which covers my whole head and ears. it looks like a coppers helmet, so not real pretty. but as Viv would say: "I'm a safety girl."

i live in deer country, so low speed and helmets are both musts!

And for my 1000th post and my 300th in this thread...

Why Trout REALLY wants the motorcycle.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYGGCVE2lKY

Perfectly safe. Perfectly normal. all he needed was a little more speed and he would have had a perfect landing. You're right. I want a motorcycle so I can get all that fat sponsorship dough when I jump Coca Cola trucks wearing Nike clothes while eating a Big Mac. I'm lovin' it (tm). This stunt brought to you by the good people at Microsoft, Boeing, Winston-Salem, Tide and Viagra!

Where the heck is everybody??? Generate some interest people!

Was just looking thru the Wedding/Funeral pictures and telling a friend about it :) Fortunately she is an SL person so understands the basic warped nature of the beast.

Ok, what shall I talk about?

Inside My English Breakfast Snapple Lid: The weight of the moon is 81 billion tons!

Inside My Fortune Cookie: "Sometimes Even Love Shows a Re-Run" (this actually makes some sense to me right now). Also, on the other side the chinese word for "boy" is "Nan Hai". Accent marks over both "a's"

I had Wonton Soup, Scallion Pancakes, and Shanghai Fried Rice for lunch. I did NOT eat the fortune cookie. I think they are awful. I have 1/2 of all of this still leftover. Anyone want some? And some fresh mixed berries :)

And I want to go home.

Finally! Some male attention! Please, talk about me/the dress/my body all you care too. I'm feeling like I need an ego boost today.

Thank you Mac :D
