(By the way, and completely OT, a plug here for Rioko's Demonia Skybox Rentals. I got a good look when I visited CX's new house there. She has the loveliest skyboxes, I am SO jealous. Good prim allowance, reasonable rent, and the homes have all the amenities you'd want.) yus yus ![]() ![]() btw 3ring...the other competition was Zanphoria...Lindal entered then I went along to vote, and put my pic up there just to see how many I would get on the pic alone lol. btw...they moved the comp upstairs...I went to check up and vote again, and I thought I had missed something lol. Oh....and I'm back. ![]() _____________________

Oh, I saw him in world last night. He noticed. ![]() Brenda and I discussed it, even. I think of all the photos I've seen yours are the most distracting. Maybe it's the settings you put your pictures in or something. That one, the fishing photo, the MaryAnn photo, all remind me of somewhere I've been or lived in RL, so they have more of a ring of reality to them. At any rate, rest assured, the baseball picture definitely caught my attention and held it. _____________________

ok, seeing as it is 5pm and I have had nothing to eat all day, I thought I'd grab a sammich...
![]() Why do they insist on putting tomatoes on the sammich without warning...hiding them so you can't see them... Anyone else want it? I think I'll get something else in a bit...blech ![]() _____________________

Tomatoes are over-rated unless you grow them yourself, or pay an arm and a leg for them from some organic or local grower in the height of summer. The ones at the market are usually under-ripe and tasteless. /me takes a sammie from you, but tosses the tomato too! BTW - that looks like a Pret a Manger sandwich ![]() _____________________

I'm having a terrible time concentrating on anything worthwhile today, which is a problem, because I have stuff I need to do. I'm leaving this place at the end of the month and there's tons of stuff to wrap up. But it's a beautiful day. I'm thinking I might take off early and go motorcycle shopping. I think I'm set on a V-Star. I just have to beat the salesman into submission.

They are a biotch to clean. "CX" _____________________

This would be the helmet to go with... ![]() Are you sure? That looks like something a jockey would wear. I'm thinking full-face, white, with the Trout Coat of Arms on the forehead and a larger version on the back. _____________________

Nice Motorpickle there "The Trout". I would not recommend riding with armor or near mud puddles. They are a biotch to clean. "CX" But just imagine the trail of sparks the armor would leave if I ever dumped the bike? How pretty! OK, Ok, the only armor I'll wear is armor designed for biking as oposed to jousting, waging war on Gaul or taking back the Holy Land from the infidel. For those of you suggesting helmets, I already have one - full face but in black, not white. Maybe I can get the Trout coat of arms made into a decal. I saw a helmet that had been in a wreck where the rider walked away with very minor injuries and the face mask looked like it had been held against a belt sander. That was enough to convince me to get a face mask. I'm ugly enough as it is without having my face ground into hamburger. Besides, without a face mask, bugs get in your teeth. _____________________

Yes, you must wear a DOT helmet. Mine is not rated by the DOT because they test race helmets in a different manner. Snell Rated Helmet ![]() "CX" _____________________

She was in 4 door Pickup making a turn, a guy on a bike tried to get past in the other direction, lost it and rolled right into her path. She had no chance to stop. ![]() _____________________

Could you imagine hitting a deer or a moose while on a bike? Yes, definitely wear a face-helmet. Are there moose there where you go fishing?

For economy and a bit more protection he could have bought my pride and joy for $1K USD. I hated to give her away so cheap.

Could you imagine hitting a deer or a moose while on a bike? Yes, definitely wear a face-helmet. Are there moose there where you go fishing? No. Well, maybe. I've never seen one. But there are deer and elk, which would be a catastrophe. I doubt I'll take the bike fishing. I usually need the truck for that because of the gear I lug around and the remoteness of the locations means roads that aren't suitable for that kind of bike. Actually, I'm not convinced they are suitable for my 4wd Avalanche sometimes. They can get pretty ugly. CX - It's fully approved. I didn't skimp on the helmet. That didn't seem like a place to cut corners. Brenda - What? I can't pop wheelies and burn out in parking lots? Of course I'll be careful. I'm not usually in a hurry to get anywhere. If I were, why would I take a motorcycle? I want the bike for the mileage and for the fun of riding it. _____________________
