It looks like the name expired and SL University bought it. It takes time for the changes to replicate out accross the web but by the end of the day if this is what happened no one will be getting to SLU from sluniverse.com name  Not good. Not good at all. |

From: Chalice Yao An alternative that gives access again: Edit: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts [the name of the file is "hosts", it has no extension but is a flat text file - RH]] add the following two lines: 74.208.13.68 sluniverse.com 74.208.13.68 www.sluniverse.comAnd your Windows installation will take the entry from that hosts file for DNS lookups on sluniverse. Linux has it in /etc/hosts Strip out the tags on the second line because I can not make these boards leave them out :mad:
This way, your computer will not look up an address for SLU. It will use this IP. |
