i read the link. i don't want your stinking snacks. quit being so dense.
You read the link? So where did it suggest that it was a "snack"?

Yep, you are *definitely* both competing for "Moron of the Month".

Pep (Perhaps you had problems too reading all the way through the post to the origin of the phrase? Never mind, most of the others reading this thread have greater powers of concentration.))

regardless of origin, it's still bad grammar. Ray Stevens got it right, you see. grow up.

(LOL edited because i wrote Ray Charles. who is fab, btw)

She posted the other day, around Halloween. I think I wasn't high on medication at the time and imagined it.

Yes, and she posted where to get that really cool witch's hat. :)

It is going to be a busy day for me.

Good morning, Rhonda.

whoa...2 hours north? holy moly. *hugs*

*mews*

Well . . . I'm adding in the 15 or more minutes waiting for the train at the train station in off-peak hours. Since that is when I'd be using it to go north after a dentist appointment.

And really, it isn't 2 hours when Metro runs smoothly. Which is never. heh

On a good day without complications I can get from the first train station to my work station in around 45 minutes (or work station to my home station). Then there's a mile walk from the station to my work, or a 15 (or so) car ride home, depending on which direction I'm going. So, on a good day, it can be as little as an hour. It rarely is a good day though. (edited to add: I forgot 15 minutes before or after, depending on direction, so good day is hour and 15 minutes)

I do not mind, tremoundously, as it gives me a lot of time to read or sleep. Though I do when I'm having side-effects of medication, and/or do not have medication. Like recently.

Well Ray Stevens is a scholar and he uses "is" with "those" so that's good enuff fer me. I'm not gonna to sit here and listen to you bad mouth the man who wrote such classics as Guitarzan and The Streak. That's just un-American and could get yer butt kicked.
This just about sums up your scholarship, doesn't it.

Pep (is delighted to be unAmerican if illiteracy is part of the deal, and extremely unlikely to get his butt kicked regardless; we ex-pro footballers tend not to worry too much about that sort of thing. :D )

Since the other two have now made complete and absolute fools of themselves I am quite happy to let it go for the time being.
