How I spent my evening . . . ![]() Bored out of my gourd at Berlin 1920. But doing a pretty good job of evading the fashion police! Great picture, and great look for your AV. _____________________

Scylla, that is a great pic! You look as if you're waiting for someone to arrive. ![]() I've been meaning to take a look at that sim. ![]() TY! It's a really nice sim (although they need a greater variety of dances at the club). But you are best to go (as I didn't) at about 1pm SLT or so, as it's primarily frequented by Europeans. 3Ring: I guess I was sort of sad because I wanted to dance, and no one showed. Amazing how empathetic my avi is, eh? ETA: Thanks Seven, and Chris. ![]() _____________________

What happened? Rhonda, babes, what's the matter? you sick? ![]() Just feeling ill. Sorry, I did not mean to make it sound like something awful happened. My brain i feeling foggy too. That is what I dislike the most. Headaches I can ignore, achey back and legs are soothed with a shower, not being able to focus my thoughts ... it is like a loss of control. A loss of strength. |

Three, do what I do...find a gorgeous neighbor guy, ask him would you mind?...works everytime for me. ![]() ![]() 1 user agreed. Better yet, have a nice older man as a neighbor. He's just as likely to help, and is less likely to hit on you afterward. ![]() Which reminds me to do some weed pulling in my front yard this weekend. After a few minutes of bending over, in the right pair of jeans, he usually comes over, rake and leaf blower in hand. ![]() _____________________

@Scylla: That picture is very nice, very atmospheric. You are very pretty. I would suggest a tighter shot and maybe turning the camera a bit to see more of your face and it would really be beautiful.
*If you wear one of my beanies, even better.... ![]() _____________________

If he has never broken a screw then he must not have ever done much woodwork. A thing to remember, the better drills have a clutch you can use to adjust the power they "screw" with. Full power to drill, down to barely spinning for use in delicate wood. And yes, you can buy a bit to drill out the old screw. I'm glad to hear that - I didn't think I'd done anything remarkable. I did buy a bit for metal and tried to drill it out, but all it did was polish the visible end of the buried screw. I thought maybe I had to drill off to the side, but I needed to re-use the hole afterward. |

My typist guy bites his nails. You remind me of the young ladies walking the campus at the university where I work in RL. While I'm waiting for my ride, I notice they all have bare midriffs and shorts or short skirts. I figure I should wait outside my office building- you know, so I can patrol the area and look out for them. . I think waiting outside sounds like a smart move to me. ![]() This reminded me of something. People have all sorts of ways of deciding when spring has arrived. Around here it is typically things like robins arriving or certain trees blooming. Back in the day when I was in Austin, around the UT campus we had another method. Whenever you saw the first bra-less tank top of the season that meant spring had officially arrived. ![]() _____________________

Oh, my little Home Depot story: not so funny, but anyway... We had to change the front-door lock, so I decided to do it myself. I got the lock and took the power drill and went to unscrew the old one. Unfortunately, it was set to screw in, not out, and I really went to town on it, so it broke the head right off the screw. I went to Home Depot with the head of the old screw (the body of it was still in the door) and one of the new screws (for size) and I asked this guy if I could just drill the old screw out and if so, could he sell me a bit to do it. His jaw dropped open and he looked at the broken-off screw head and he said, "You broke this off?" Me: Yeah. Him: *You* broke this off? Me: Yes. Do you have a bit that I could drill out the old screw with? Can I do that? Him: How did you do it? Me: I just took the drill and wzzz! it snapped right off. Him: Really! Me: Really. So can I just drill out the old one? Will that work? Him: I can't believe you broke the head off the screw! Me: I had a power drill. So do you have a bit that I can use? Him: You broke the head off the screw. Me: Yes, I did. Can you help me? Him: I can't believe it. Me: Is there someone else who could help me? Him: You broke it off! Me: Can I have that back? I had to take it out of his hand. He is probably still standing there with his mouth open. Oh, in the end I just crazy-glued the head back on the screw (still in the door). . Some men just get sooo confused when we pick up power tools.. they seem amazed that woman can use them. You can get a bit at Walgreens and Home Depot that will let you remove broken and headless screws. At Walgreens it in with the "As Seen on TV" items.. |
