Thank you for yet another example of systemic American misspelling.

Pep (You are confusing Eli even more now, you realise?)

Hey ;) You are the one who asked what OED was. I'm only being helpful.

And vikings...don't forget vikings.

Nooooo, noooooo, noooooooo, it is historically inaccurate about the Vikings. Their helmets didn't actually have horns :( I'm sorry Jerboa, :(

Would you like a lecture on how the letter "z" was not included in the classic Latin alphabet and consequently English words that have Latin roots (such as "re";) should be correctly spelled with "s" not "z", whereas words with Greek roots can be spelled with either.

Pep (I know it's probably over your head, but others might be interested.)

That is soooo 19th Century. Everyone who is anyone knows that s and z are freely interchangeable today, along with any inventive phonetic substitutions.

Here...let me point you to the REAL dictionary:

Ok. Can you also start Pep-ego-stroke counting too? It would be intersting to collect some data and compare it. We could make cool graphs and stuff. :p

U r so rt!

Pep (Drop your standards low enough and everything is acceptable.)

PS I'd point out that "Professor Eli" was the one who had the temerity to suggest that *I* was wrong! You have to be *really* stupid to do that. ;)

Mwah :D

Lovey lovey dovey!

There now, I feel properly guilty.
