Your forum tag has probably scared everyone away.

Pep (even those who you might think would not be worried. ;) )

Perhaps you should leave looking "euphemism" up in the dictionary until the morning.

A euphemism is meant to do no harm. Contrary to your usage. An unveiled insult is not a euphemism by any stretch of the imagination.

Per the OED: "a mild or less direct word substituted for one that is harsh or blunt when referring to something unpleasant or embarrassing." Which sounds about right for the way I am using it.

Pep (Your observation is almost as skewed as Love's; without the excuse of tiredness, though. :p )

You're welcome.

Morning everyone! Some big to-do announcement at work this morning. They were setting up big screen tvs in all the conference rooms, cafeteria, and lobby. This morning, I spied swag bags on the way to my desk. I guess we'll know what is up in another hour.

You are not really *that* naive, are you, Jerboa?

Pep (Its use as an expletive is independent of any physical meaning, which is why it is formally banned from these forums.)

If I wanted to encourage you to demonstrate your ignorance I could ask no more.

Horns are different from victory signs, or even bunny ears.

Thank you for yet another example of systemic American misspelling.

I thought they looked like bunny ears. I have a bunny named Winston Churchill. He's small, but often victorious.
