And her face is a bit Mary-Tyler-Moore-ish (back when MTM was young).

I hate to tell you guys, but I think almost every day is Arthur Day.

I'd rather have Jasmine Day :)

It really is fun. I try to get there when I can, but often 2am is a bit late for me on a Monday night.

And besides, you are busy getting the laundry in off the line...... :p

September 24th.

I don't like Guinness, but I'll prolly have a drink or two since it's an excuse for a party lol.

This will freak out the menfolk, but poor on a drop of blackcurrant concentrate if you can get your hands on it. It's nice :)

It speeds up the time between starting drinking and throwing up as well.

I've tried that once, and still wasn't so keen. No doubt I'll be roped into trying it again.

No idea and St. James's Gate is just down the road.

Found out: September 24, 2009. I'm assuming the Dublin sim will be doing stuff. :)

From: someone
Start Time: Thursday, September 24, 2009 at 5:55pm
End Time: Friday, September 25, 2009 at 12:00am
Location: Various Locations
City/Town: Dublin, Ireland

The celebrations begin in Dublin at 17:59 local time with a global toast to Arthur Guinness to mark the 250 years since he signed the 9,000 year lease on the St. James's Gate brewery and kick off the beginning of the Arthur’s Day global events. In Dublin thousands of people will be coming together to experience the live music events in over 30 venues across Dublin from intimate gigs in pubs to music venues and even a concert at the St. James’s Gate brewery itself. One of the most historic buildings in the brewery, Hop Store 13, will become a live music studio for Arthur’s Day where more than 2,000 guests from around the world will enjoy performances from global artists in honour of this remarkable milestone and the legacy that is Arthur Guinness. At 17:59 in and around the world, consumers will be joined by Artists and celebrities including Sir Bob Geldof, Guy Ritchie, Carson Daly, Jerry Hall and Sophie Dahl as they take part in this once in a lifetime moment and raise a GUINNESS to Arthur and toast the Arthur Guinness Fund. Arthur Guinness and his family were responsible for some of the most well known acts of philanthropy in Ireland and to honour and continue this legacy we are establishing the Arthur Guinness Fund. The aim of the Fund is to enable and empower individuals with skills and opportunities to deliver a measured benefit to their communities. The Guinness & Co. will donate €6 million to the Arthur Guinness Fund which will be active from September 2009. New artists joining the Arthur’s Day lineup today are: Sir Tom Jones, Calvin Harris, Razorlight, Richard Hawley, Black Swan Effect, Republic of Loose, Imelda May, David Gray, The Hot Rats, Jamie Cullum, Sugababes, The Kooks, The Blizzards, Golden Silvers, Jay Jay Pistolet, Mick Flannery, Dirty Epics, The Chakras, Cherbourg, Eoghan Colgan, Hoarsebox, Nat Jenkins, Noise Control and The Chapters. Find out how you can book tickets & find out more information on: http://www.visitdublin.com/Events/MajorEventsInDublin/Detail.aspx?id=297&mid=6239

Here is another driving story to while away the time to 88888.

When I first got my license, I was invited to a party that was only ten miles away, but to me it seemed SO SO far. I'd never driven so far by myself, over roads that went through dark woods.

I took some wrong turns, and when I realized this, I made an extremely abrupt, unwise, and illegal U-turn. The tires screeched and barely missed smacking the curb. I was a little shaken up.

Worst of all, at that same moment, a small blue light lit on the dash.

I had no idea what it meant - whether the car was about to explode, whether I should drive into a lake to cool it off, or what. I was scared to death. My only real option was to continue on the party.

Once I got there, I asked almost every guy in the place what the light could mean. No one had a clue. Finally I hit on one who asked, "Do you think you could have accidentally turned on your highbeams?"

And this helps the reputation of women drivers in *what* fashion?

Pep (Female brains have problems differentiating left from right, so it isn't surprising.)

I don't believe I'm representative.

Pep,for the record I broke it off with Eli because I went back with my ex. Eli was a fantastic guy and never did anything wrong. So please stop saying I pushed him off. It had nothing to do with him at all. He is a great guy and 3ring is lucky to have him.

I am pleased to hear about the left-right business, though. It's a relief (to have an excuse).

Belief doesn't necessarily make things so, unfortunately.

Pep (Otherwise I believe I would prefer to be somewhere warmer, with a cold beer in my hand, and fewer clothes on.)

*rubs your temples* Hope you're feeling better soon, Elora.

And it's maddening when technology fights you!!! grrrrr.

I'm feeling much better, thanks. A bacon, egg and cheese on a roll from the Big Belly Deli down the street worked wonders :p

And, my laptop is currently connected to the unsecured network in the cell phone store downstairs :D Usually, I wouldn't do such a thing, but I know the guy rather well and trust him, so I feel ok piggy-backing on his network for the time being until we run out to get the new router.

Pep (You shouldn't quote me!)

PS Oh - was this #88888? Lucky me!
