Cesar Chavez is a pretty big deal out here. He got me to stop eating grapes for ten years. (And I love grapes.) And finally won significant improvements in the lives of the people who make it possible for us all to eat.
City of Denver employees get if off, but pretty much nobody else around these parts celebrate the holiday.

Oh well, I'll enjoy the 4-day weekend and have decided to maybe fly out to Seattle and drive north a bit to see Zena. We have wanted to meet up for some time now.

yeah, i think it was on when i posted. been running the same story for months now. i just love how feisty she is. she reminds me of me. :D it is usually on, but that doesn't mean i am watching/listening. but definitely a habit by now.
