My son and I were on our own property when a male avatar flew in. At first we were friendly to him with my son translating between my English and this new guy's Spanish. Then he asks me for sex. OK no harm no foul but no thanks. But he won't take no for an answer even after my son tells him I'm his rl mother. We were laughing of course but talk about not having boundaries. One morning I was in a bed store... I forget which one, but I was deep into its really huge girl/girl section. I was walking up and down the aisles, clicking here and there, counting animations, comparing features, and trying to avoid a pair of Brazilian amazons who kept (literally) bumping into me... when someone starts IM'ing me... flattery... and I say, "Where are you?" So he flies down next to me, a nice-looking guy, and... He: "Want to try out a bed with me?" Me: "You know this is the girl/girl section, don't you?" He: "Uh, no. Hey, how about this one?" Me: "No, no thanks. Did you hear what I said?" He: "Hey, have you tried [name of another store]? I'll tp you, okay?" Me: "No, no, I'm not going anywhere!" He: "What?" The guy was actually pretty nice and funny, and he would NOT give up. So I said (and not in a mean way, I swear!), "Listen to me. Let me save you some time. NOTHING is going to happen here. You're a nice guy, you're good looking. If you go hit on some other girl I'm sure she'll drop her pants for you, but nothing is going to happen with me. Okay?" But that was not enough. I was never rude or unkind, but it was a long time before he finally seemed to get the message and went away. Then, after another nasty bump from the amazon couple, he came flying back in. "Hey, you really ought to come with me to [name of other store]." After another, shorter, series of refusals, he finally left for good. The entire time I was IM'ing with a friend, and told her, "It's a good thing he left when he did, because if he kept it up a just a little bit longer, I would have said yes." |

Friendships formed and bonds of all sorts created... Happy times and drama- sadness and joy; people coming and going and coming back... Our microcosm of SL and our fix when we need it and "the boring place" ™ tried to interfere...
What a motley crew of folks we are and how well our colorful selves blend and contrast. Here's to another 50K!

 Happy 50K Day Undead Thread!
Indeed! Good morning to all Theadites! Happy 50K! And congrats Kaimi, well done! Bites, pinches and nibbles all around! BTW who was the little cheater that tried to insert himself in at the last moment? And now I have a question. Who here is equipped to maybe help out in creating a little shoulder pet kind of thing? Ghosty needs it to be no transfer/no modify (other than him being able to give it out to whom he pleases) but it can be copy. It has to do with the party he's throwing. He's gotten pretty good at building but hasn't delved into sculpties yet at all. Obviously, we assume someone would want to be paid for their services and we'd expect them in return not to ever sell the object since it would be very specific to what he needs it for. If anyone is interested or knows of someone who does these kinds of things would you please PM me or IM me inworld? Merci beaucoup! (to carry on the French theme of the last few days).

Rioko, Damien, Ally and I threw a huge party combined because all of us rezzed about a week from each other. Actually mine is the 23rd too or the 21st, can't remember now offhand lol. Ann also came in August but she didn't tell us until too late. It was remarkable to find out how many of us here came in the same month. Perhaps next year we'll all do it again for our 2nd "birthdays"?
