So, I'm looking at ringtones for my new phone and, wouldn't you know it, my service company actually has Nine Inch Nail's 'Closer'...I so want to get it, but the sample snippet is of the chorus and I can just imagine forgetting to switch it to vibrate at some point and having Trent belt out "I want to f*ck you like an animal!" at an inconvenient moment.

Instead, I'm considering:

Deftones 'Change (In the House of Flies)'
Rob Zombie 'Dragula'
Jane's Addiction 'Been Caught Stealing'
Violent Femmes 'Blister in the Sun'
The Ramones 'I Wanna Be Sedated'

There are actually quite a few good ones, but I think those are the front runners...any opinions?

Well, if you can play NIN on it and utilize vibrate at the same time I think you have a winner combo.

I vote Jane's Addiction (though going off in a retail store could suck) or The Ramones.

Ramones would be my ultimate end choice.

Ladies - If you like PixelDolls dresses, at the main store there is a dress sale - all dresses are L$50 until Jan 15.

These people and their super low sales are killing my inventory.

I am with ya.

Though I have known people who were into it in SL. It is not something I would be into but whatever floats their pixel boats.

Actually, sometimes it does require a pixel boat.

In that case I have tales that would make you shudder. Lets just say in the dark role-play environments I have played in you meet the most weirdest people ever who are into the strangest things, some of those strange things they want to do to you. Sometimes they don't even ask before abducting you and doing them either.
Definitely large on the "ewwww" factor but as seasoned role-player I pride myself on never having resorted to Fade To Black ever, though I have to admit it has come close on many occasions.
Let me put it another way, poor Gabriele has suffered more abuse than I could ever possibly tell you at the hands of such fiends

Well as with all things it is not as cut and dried as that, parts of the storyline were extremely enjoyable, other parts not so enjoyable or at least very weird and such. I don't know if you have participated in such role-play but it is easy to get taken along with the story and you feel a great reluctance to bail on it. Kind of taking the rough with the smooth, after all it is just narrative and such, it is not as if it is happening to me really. I have read as bad or worse in books and so I give such things a shot, give it my best so to speak. After all it is a story we are weaving together.
You might find that bizarre and it probably is and it is isn't something that is easy to explain though.
