The office parties where i work are L A M E!!! Last year, we had to sit through a presentation over the year's safety and production performance. Not just a quick run down either, I mean a 45 minute presentation while we ate cold food. I missed my daughter's christmas orchestra concert last week from working late.  My wife's work is just having a day time party. Other than just trying to get together with friends this weekend, I think I missed out on the planned events. your work party sounds awful. and i bet you HAVE TO go. it's totally a bummer that you missed your daughter's performance. that would have killed me, and i send hugs and warm wishes (was it videotaped?). i hope some fun stuff comes your way. _____________________

I don't HAVE TO go so I'm staying away this time. What I am looking forward to is our Christmas morning pajama party. We have several friends and their kids come over, everyone brings their new toys and pajamas are required. The we play (and eat) all day long. |

Xmas is so sucking here peeps - there isn't a drop of xmas spirit to be had. Son has been a butt for months, getting worse and worse in school- no lights are going up- no tree Having been xmas deprived as a child (see my rant on JW's) I use to love xmas- i haven't really had a great one in years- some have been rather ok- but the actual spirit and goodness has pretty much dried up and blown away Last night driving home, I saw lights on my street. In SL I have a tree in the store and at home - this weekend I think I will go all out and decorate SL Christmas- with Santa and reindeer and jolly snowmen and lights  I bought the coolest welcome mat from Czari and a neat fireplace with lights from Skell - they look real pretty. I think I will make it snow too- prepare for serious particle lag-fest!_____________________

 Hope everyone has a good day. Just got home from my brother's wedding. I think this was his fifth one. Thank god I am never getting married again. What a pain weddings are. Bleh.Amar I feel your pain. My 13 year old son is such a butthead lately, I just don't know what to do with him anymore. He is 13 and Autistic, so things are pretty rough in my house right now.Anyway take care all,just stopping in to say hi. Honey I'll be in world later to pay my rent. _____________________

last night i had my first holiday party. tonight the next. 3 next week. i'm already exhausted. LOL anyone else got stuffs planned? Last night was my company's holiday party. They did things right. Semi-formal, a live band that played a variety of music including danceable jazz. The works really...it was a fabulous night. (Have I mentioned I love where I work?) _____________________

In addition to today's departmental lunch, the university holiday reception is next Wednesday. I've been invited to two holiday parties scheduled for the same time on Saturday the 20th. Fortunately, one's in my neighborhood, and the other's relatively nearby, so I can stop in at both. |

 It's one of my customers, wearing pants and non-prim shoes he bought from me. I explained to him how to re-bake textures which I think might solve the problem with the shoes but what about the purple stuff coming out of the pant cuff? _____________________
