Wow, I have never seen it look like that before. If I were going to take a wild guess, I would say they have on purple socks. I have seen weird triangle flaps hanging down below the pants cuffs which is some quirk with the avatar mesh. Set the pants length to 99 and problem goes away. This *might* be a version of that glitch, but like I said, it's only a guess. But indeed those pants were somehow set to 100. I haven't heard back from the customer whether getting replacement pants fixed the problem. But it wasn't anything to do with his grahics because I took that picture and apparently he was seeing it the same way. Thanks for your help, Yoseph. I've had no end of trouble with clothing textures recently, regardless of viewer used. First it started on the shirt layer...sleeves and torso were always full length, even on shirts supposed to have rolled sleeves. Clearing caches, baking textures, copying skins, and such seemed to fix it. But now, shoe textures (ok..shoe bases with prim shoes) are having their color travel all the way up to my waist, covering any underwear layer that might be there. It's really annoying when I am trying to wear a tucked in shirt, that has the bottom part on the underwear layer. I'm not sure how to fix it, but maybe my problems and your client's are related. _____________________

OK, the issue is that nvidia stopped supporting palletized textures (whatever the hell that is). The result is what you see. This will hold for every client based on the non-RC code. So all of the third party clients are affected too. As I said, you can turn it off in the debug menu, though you have to do it every time you start the client. Personally I'd rather do this for now and wait until the RC is a stable release which gets the cool viewer (or your viewer of choice) treatment, over upgrading to the slow RC crashing hell. _____________________

I have no direct experience with this, however. |

OK- for you paranoid types- I just created a Facebook account to continue spamming the Internet with Talon Faire stuff in the hope of gathering sales,,,etc,- OK- first thing I get is - these people on your email have face book accounts- want to add them as friends? OK-one of the people on my contact list is an SLer I no longer have any contact with but I know what they look like because they posted a pic hereabouts- thing is- if I were a crazy stalker type- I now have her name, an idea of where abouts etc- RL- and could possibly go about finding them- fortunately I am neither deranged nor interested in stalking but the point is- make sure your rl name is not listed as your email addy if these things matter to you- PSA of the Day... thank you, now back to your Thread..
