If Scotch needs to be cold then you leave it on the windowsill or in the fridge if you don't trust your neighbours. One of my cats passed this year - I had her for about 12 years, so it was really hard. We also had to put a dog to sleep a bit over a year ago and another one 4 years before that. My oldest dog probably only has a year or so left, and I am dreading that day so much - I have had him since he was 2 months old and he is now 13 yrs old. I keep telling myself I will not get another because I cannot stand the pain - but I love the critters too much and always end up getting another. _____________________

So I just got back from the vets. Had to take George the other day cause he dropped half his body weight in just a few days. She said he had a very bad case of worms, so gave him a wormer and told us to come back next week. Last night, he took a turn for the worse, and refused to eat or drink anything at all. We decided it didn't seem like worms anymore, so took him to the vets. They took him in to put him on a drip and do blood tests. Got a phone call not long ago and turns out he has feline leukemia so they had to put him to sleep. nooooooooooooo. oh, i am SO very sorry. *hugs* i'm hurt, for you. i just don't know what to say...._____________________

Hi, Threadies, frequent posters, and lurkers.
Today is a sad day. My employer designated all SL-related sites as "gaming related" and banned access to them. Since I do most of my forum browsing and posting at work, this means that Lindal will not be around much anymore. I'll still try to check in once a day, but I like to spend my computer time at home in world, not on the forums. It's been fun. It will continue to be fun...just not as often. Keep the Thread alive, now...and Brenda? Now I'll never *snif* have a hope of catching up to your post count. The pressure's off. /me smiles shakily and wanders off in search of strong drink. _____________________
