I preferred Data.

If Data wanted to be human so bad....

would that be considered "Genus Envy"?? :D

It is really strange out there- I agree- what's with all the sex stuff lately? Doesn't anyone have anything else to think about? Geesh- Suddenly we are awash in hormones- thank goodness we have found a modicum of fluctuating sanity in here - whew- sexy we we want and silly when we want and both at the same time if we feel like it. Those poor people that haven't found the Thread /me shakes head ... tsk, tsk

Fly by to say Hi to all the Threadies. I'm off in a few minutes to go two-steppin at my favorite country bar. It's been way too long since we were out dancing there.

But, in country bars, the guys actually dance. And most of today's country music is pretty decent.

At home, I actually listen to a variety - jazz, blues, original rock, oldies, pretty much anything from the 40's to the early to mid 80's, but only random bits after that point. And I absolutely cannot stand hip hop or about any of the techno stuff.

Actually, I have been gaining an ear for some of the better Country music myself. Being a NASCAR aficionado, I do frequent a place on racedays, and go occasionally for Wednesday night Line Dancing, though not tonite obviously.

I am a profile junkie- guy standing near me had the following in his profile...

"your grandmother is eating kippers with the count....tonight."

The following exchange ensued...

-- Instant message logging enabled --
[17:06] Amaranthim Talon: i don't think my grand mother woudl have known what a kipper was... but that is intriguing :) hello
[17:08] Name removed: you are grey fox?
[17:08] Amaranthim Talon: i am not.. wh ?
[17:08] Amaranthim Talon: why*?
[17:09] Name removed: ygrey fox?
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: i have been known to be a platinum leopard at times..
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: yes - why grey fox?
[17:09] Name removed: you have the dossier?
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: :)
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: i am not even wearing a carnation
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: but
[17:09] Amaranthim Talon: the eagle flies at dawn

So- i am thinking this is just amusing RP silliness- I am just being my usual silly self talking to people whose profiles strike me as interesting or silly or odd for what ever reason- but
isn't that strange?

Am I the only one who grew up hearing, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all."?

WTF is going on out there! Geesh - new Jig thread- ok- u don't have something to contribute to her line of questioning- shut the hell up! Why do some feel this need to cut people up?? Argh! Personally - I found both recent threads nothing I really wanted to participate in though i did get slightly drawn into one- but damn- leave the woman alone! God- she has questions let her seek her answers but damn why be such asinine fools???

OK- end of rant- bored tonight i guess- uninspired to draw and SL is just not fascinating me right now- gave it a quick go and had that weird Spy vs Spy incident - makes me just want to go to bed- hoping to find Damien sometime tonight before dawn :) he always improves my outlook ~ Hello love :) /me waves- where ever u r :)

OK, TV watching now.. ooh - Hugh Laurie.. :D.. /schizoid rant

Country music and dancing is fine but those huge belt buckles the guys wear........... makes it very difficult to make a good judgement call as to what you will actually be going home with :p

The answer to that is "never enough!" Working at home today so I had a lie-in though, so not complaining. I am also ahead of you and already eating lunch - off *my* menu, not the healthy eating one designed by SWAMBO
