I would be happy enough with just a reduced work week and reduced hours each day -- something like 10:00 - 2:00, Tue thru Thr -- with the same pay and benefits, of course.

Ok you win, I can't really argue with that.  Plus, to be honest, I was mainly just being a smart-ass with that previous post.How did your fashon show go yesterday? Also,Jerboa, congrats on the balloon. I'd have to go back and find the thread but I thought there was talk of having a balloon gathering on Nov. 8th. You should certainly join in for that if you can. For the record, I hate discussing politics more than I hate anything else in the world, and generally don't. The show went...ok. There's rarely a show without some kind of mistake somewhere, and this was no exception. Overall though, it went pretty well. There are plenty of people out there working their asses off and still just scraping by...they experience one bad turn and suddenly need a little help, and you're going to label them all freeloaders? Oryx's work schedule is far from a normal 9-5 day. She works nights -- therefore her drinking at 9:00 am is like me drinking at 4:00 pm. And Thr morning is the start of her weekend. I knew that only too well . . . which is why I was surprised why she should be commenting on the dislocated sleep patterns of others.
