If enough of us write in Desmond, will it work? I am voting for the lesser of two weevils not particularly wanting my country going a socialist route.

Speaking of that treasure hunt. Are there things for guys too? So far, the two hunts I've done have had loads of stuff for women, but unless nada for the fellers.

Is it worth slogging around all creation looking for the ghosts?

Gridwide hunt may...and it's pumpkins. I'll be giving a pair of ladies shoes, and a windchime. I'm not sure what others are giving, but you can bet it'll probably be largely geared towards women.

Honey, I'm pretty sure they're talking about the Ghost Busters hunt Vain is running through tomorrow.

Edit: OK, I can't find a SLurl, but it started at Vain Inc.'s plaza.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

There are actually two grid-wide hunts:

1) One started last Friday and goes until/thru tomorrow (not sure of the exact end date) and that one is looking for ghosts and was called Ghost Busters or something like that. If you want the start location and don't have it by the time I get inworld soon, I'll send it.

2) There is a pumpkin hunt that starts tonight/tomorrow morning and I **think** it goes thru Sunday. I do not have the info on the start point for that one.

Rha has one going starting tonight and if you like to drive your self crazy check out Falln's - theirs is across 5 sims and it is hard. But they have very cool stuff judging from the usual offerings. Mouse, don't know what if anything for guys in Falln's but they do carry men's stuff- with a decidedly goth flair.

Edited to add- not tonight- but 31wt re Rha's.

But should a guy even bother with either one? I've only done one hunt that was really worth it, and that was at a furniture store.

Oh...and finding the Tin Man costume in OZ. :)

"Socialist route" is that where millionaires run mega-corprations into the dirt and the government bails them out with my tax dollars?

Yeah, I'm with you, I don't want that either.:D

Oh Geez...can someone snap their fingers and make it Nov. 5th already? I'm tired of talking about candidates, and platforms.

Let's get to hanging chads, voter suppression, and election stealing already!

Much better than having someone take away that which you've worked for, to give it to someone who sits on their ass and expects a handout.

Oops, I so wasn't going to go here.

Smoke break :)

Yep, it does tend to get old, doesn't it. I don't really have any major problems with either canidate. I do find it a bit worriesome that those two are the best choices we could come up with.

One of the notices I got on the grid wide hunt was from PP Designs, which is a furniture store - so there is at least some "not just women's stuff". The notices also say that it is a *circular* hunt, so it does not matter where you start. Each place will have 1-5 pumpkins hidden and the last pumpkin will give a LM to the next place. I have no clue how many places are involved either.

The Ghost Busters one had 113 locations (numbered thru 114, but 107 is not really there) and lots of them were not "women's stuff". The starting location for that is:

Ok you win, I can't really argue with that. :) Plus, to be honest, I was mainly just being a smart-ass with that previous post.

How did your fashon show go yesterday?

Also,Jerboa, congrats on the balloon. I'd have to go back and find the thread but I thought there was talk of having a balloon gathering on Nov. 8th. You should certainly join in for that if you can.
