LOL, i just signed in and my mysti gives me the random quotes...it just came up with this....made me laugh...

"Rules for Good Grammar #4.
(1) Don't use no double negatives.
(2) Make each pronoun agree with their antecedents.
(3) Join clauses good, like a conjunction should.
(4) About them sentence fragments.
(5) When dangling, watch your participles.
(6) Verbs has got to agree with their subjects.
(7) Just between you and i, case is important.
(8) Don't write run-on sentences when they are hard to read.
(9) Don't use commas, which aren't necessary.
(10) Try to not ever split infinitives.
(11) It is important to use your apostrophe's correctly.
(12) Proofread your writing to see if you any words out.
(13) Correct speling is essential.
(14) A preposition is something you never end a sentence with.
(15) While a transcendant vocabulary is laudable, one must be eternally careful so that the calculated objective of communication does not become ensconsed in obscurity. In other words, eschew obfuscation."

And now for something completely different:

I have a GENUINE QUESTION!!

But I want to bury it here 'cause I am not sure in what content creation forum it belongs and don't want to be told where to put it ;)

So- with Keira's help I got my impending prim skirt creation not to attack my legs and to not fall off my waist.. (no one said turn the damn prims up-side down!) With help from a book I am figuring the ins and outs of the Gimp...

Now- once I get some of this basic knowledge down - is the next step to import the template, open say the shirt part, "color" in the layer (adding a new layer I imagine) with my (very own I shot myself texture so as not to steal another's intellectual property) to said shirt layer. Then - after appropriate tweaks, save as TARGA and up-load to SL?

Clothiers, I need advice please - thank you.

Now returning to inanities.

Not that I call myself a clothier by ANY means, but these tutorials really helped me learn what to do....she does a GIMP tut too.
I have used these and created a couple of outfits, and while they are no match to some of the bought ones, I like them...
Combine it with the flexi skirt tuts and the building accessories/manipulating prims, and you are flying! lol

Congrats, Trout...hey, maybe you can put your prize money towards the purchase of a Harley inworld! :D (if'n you don't have one...)

As a matter of fact, I have a really great bike in-world. Garrett makes them and does an excellent job. If I were home, I'd post a pic - it rocks!

Truthfully, she looks kind of annoyed. Like "I can't believe I have to lay her and let these men eat off me, but at least I'm getting paid $100 an hour to let it happen"

I think she looks a little like Jennifer Tilly, who I have always had a bit of a crush on.

Haha!
Were just waiting for the U.S. to put up a huge wall along the border. They're convinced it's for their own good, to keep away all them terrorists we're hiding. They'll pay for most of it themselves of course, and when it's finally up, no one will be able to come in or out.

Feeling a little nostalgia today about the very first game system that my Dad brought home when I was a little Mac.

I salute thee Pong! Without you there may have never been a Second Life in my future. :)

Youngins! :D

After pong for my house it was this:

My father took the family out for ice cream. I got him hooked on space invaders. Many quarters being fed to the machine followed. I told him about a game system where he could play space invaders at home. A trip to Sears later and it was ordered! Woo Hoo. First kid on my block. :)

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past for the SNES. One of my favorite games for that machine.

That was my first one, too! Then the Atari, then, in there somewhere, Dad showed up with a PC. It had a green screen, which made it infinitely cooler than the amber screen models and I had to learn DOS. I played Leather Goddesses of Phobos and the early Sierra Online games - King's Quest, Space Quest, Police Quest, etc.

I'm such a geek.
