Thanx Amaran & Claire, I see now. (strange...)

Maybe I should go get me a pair tonight. Whenever women of 'Keepers of the Thread' shall unite, they shall wear their red heels. Vote?

It does have some big names in it so far!

I do hope they get John Cleese as Dr. Barnhardt (rumored).
He’s one of my favorite actors. He’s not done much recently except as the kings voice in the Shrek movies and when he was on Will and Grace

LOL So true! How many times have I bought a pair of shoes in RL with nothing in my closet to wear with it.

The coffee is so good this morning :)

I always see him as Sir Lancelot The Brave and Tim the Enchanter.

Not about *red* shoes specifically, but:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjvaqVAFuLI]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjvaqVAFuLI"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjvaqVAFuLI

I once met a man with a sense of adventure
He was dressed to thrill wherever he went
He said "Let's make love on a mountain top
Under the stars on a big hard rock"
I said "In these shoes?
I don't think so"
I said "Honey, let's do it here."

So I'm sitting at a bar in Guadalajara
In walks a guy with a faraway look in his eyes
He said "I've got as powerful horse outside
Climb on the back, I'll take you for a ride
I know a little place, we can get there for the break of day."
I said "In these shoes?
No way, Jose"
I said "Honey, let's stay right here."

No le gusta caminar. No puede montar a caballo
(She doesn't like to walk, she can't ride a horse)
Como se puede bailar? Es un escandolo
(But the way she dances, it's a scandal)

Then I met an Englishman
"Oh" he said
"Won't you walk up and down my spine,
It makes me feel strangely alive."
I said "In these shoes?
I doubt you'd survive."
I said "Honey, let's do it.
Let's stay right here."

No le gusta caminar. No puede montar a caballo
(She doesn't like to walk, she can't ride a horse)
Como se puede bailar? Es un escandolo
(But the way she dances, it's a scandal)

While you're there Lindal, there's a nice pair of black high heel Mary Janes for free too.

And BTW, I got a raise this year even with my reduced schedule at work, and I've been slacking off considerably here on the Forum. They probably have no clue at all what you've been up to.

Laughing *with* Elora...

(quietly muttering under my breath about being a contractor)

time to make a few phone calls, I think...get a job and slack of and get paid for it...(why did I not think of this before??)

Well I could wear it with my Gom Jobber dress that I wore last night, but nobody would see my lovely feet in that thing!

I think all my red dresses are all long, mmmm, shopping trip might be a necessity. Although I might have a nice pair of red jeans stashed somewhere...

it's thinking about John Cleese and his ex-parrot that get me into trouble here at work.

That parrot is a big joke in my family. We always kept a fake parrot in our kitchen. To this day, my 2 sisters have fake parrots in theirs, and I even put one in my SL kitchen. Well until I saw how many prims it was. Then the parrot had to go :p

They know already. I have a picture of "me" on my desk; and my house. My one boss, the older one? He nearly fainted when he saw "me". The house they were interested in because they are architects :)

No no he's not dead, he's, he's restin'! Remarkable bird, the Norwegian Blue, idn'it, ay? Beautiful plumage!

The plumage don't enter into it. It's stone dead

Well, he's...he's, ah...probably pining for the fjords.

PININ' for the FJORDS?!?!?!? What kind of talk is that?, look, why did he fall flat on his back the moment I got 'im home?

brave one.
I learned awhile ago to just stop talking about it at work
People tend to get that “he’s in need of an intervention” look in their eyes
