Hmmm, apparently I need remedial image posting lessons...
I downloaded the pic, so it is working on my screen now. not sure why it asks to open or save the image when I visit the webpage....

The easiest way...or at least the easiest way I have found is to do the following:

Search for your pic in google images...

In the frame at the top, click 'see full-size image'...

Then when the page loads, right click on the picture and select properties...

Copy the entire address from the pop-up (normally ends in .jpg or similar)...
(If you have used the 'see full size image' option, then normally you could just copy and paste the url from your address bar instead, but I like to use the properties still)

Normally, here i would paste the url into my address bar and click go, just to test it...if it doesn't work, it is unlikely to work in a post....

Then use the img tags in your post, copying the address.

Checking the link normally helps to prevent the downloading images like that one, and the ones which don't let people have permissions to link to the pics....

hmmm... I was going through the steps as i said them, and I found my pic of the day...until i start with the lolcats and stuffs lol...



Not sure whether funky or wierd or both lol.
EDIT: Think this exsists as an avatar, and if not, How easy is it to make do you think? I want one!

I have my images on Photobucket - I save a copy to my harddrive then upload it into Photobucket- it gives me a url with the image tags already in place. I then paste that here and voila...

And I am going weird.

I do the same with flickr usually, but i still use the properties option lol. Just for coffee pictures and serving up the food i find it easier to search google.

FWIW: at one time I thought I'd read all of the user forums every day. I quickly ealized that I could not - it is too much.

So then I thought I would read all of Resident Answers every day. OF course, I soon realized that even that was too much and I began to pick and choose my threads.

More recently, even that has been too much and I've settled for reading only this, THE thread.

But alas, THE thread has grown so monstrously popoular that I have given up on reading every post it has. I still read each day, but I cant' even TRY to take it all in - it has too much to offer.
