Well that's Dekka, Rebecca, Rioka and Amaranthim.

I think we need to have a rollcall - everyone report into this thread - I get very worried if I don't know you are all ok and posting.

We will have to post the bans, write up the guest list... do you require a dowry - I spent all my money on skins :)....

dowery? oh no no no. I was thinking about the bride price.
And don't worry about money. SL marriage is like RL marriage, right? I get a paycheck and hand it over to you. Then sit aroud the house in my underware drinking beer and watching TV ...
One second thought, scratch that. RL can stay where it is.

I'm stunned, simply stunned....

Yosef, didn't you ask ME to marry you just the other day? I mean, I know I wanted a better proposal, and a bigger ring, and .... but I never thought you'd marry another! and so soon....

/me runs from the room sobbing brokenheartedly.

But ...
But ...
You turned me down. I was stricken. Devistated. And now Amara is has asked me. She will heal my heart. She wants to hold me at night when we are alone and tell me her dreams. She will listen to my hopes and desires. She will wear red leather when I chain her to the wall and force her to ... no wait ... we have discussed that part yet.

Did this thead really die?
Just wondering.... Inquiring Minds, and all!
It was on page 2 when I potsed my grim prognosis yesterday. It seems to have taken on new life since then. It's a miracle, I tell ya.

You only want me for my cooking?
/me looks saddened.
So if someone comes along with a good chilli verde recipe, would you forget all about me?

1 lb pork-cubed
5 tomatillos
3 chiles serranos
1 med white onion
1/3 of a cilantro bunch
4 cloves of garlic

Cook the pork and brown it. Drain fat if you prefer. Meanwhile, wrap the green tomatoes, chiles and garlic wrap in tin foil and place them in a pot. Cover and heat on medium high until the tomatoes are soft. Stir occasionally to heat evenly. It is ok if they are a little burnt or if they liquify (if just makes it tastier).
Once veggies are soft, blend (in food processor or blender) with the onion and cilantro. Pour the sauce over the meat and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes on medium low (the longer the better).

After about 5 minutes add the cilantro and cover to continue simmering and reduce about 1/3 of the liquid.

Remove from to let it rest at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve with flour tortillias.

This recipe is great because nothing has to be exact. Add more chiles if you like it spicier. Three chiles is about medium hot. White corn tortillias are another popular treat. If you love garlic, add some more. If you're not big on cilantro, use less.

Which reminds me of a story -- and if this thread is not the place to post way off the track weirdness than I don't know where else would be better -- when I was on a quest fot the perfect Teramisu recipe. I tried several from the internet which yielded some thinngs which were only teramisu in a theoretical sense. I even found a few good ones on Itialian web sites . I don't speak or read Itialian, BTW, but after you have read the basic recipe a few dozen times, you can easily pick up what it says. I took the bits and pieces and adjusted to what I like. I had made at least 50 pans of teramisu by the time I had what I wanted. My friends who were coming by all the time just because I would meet them at the door saying "here, try this" quit coming over because I would meet them at the door saying "here, try this." Except for one, who can eat tersmisu all day every day (Love you, Boo).

Feeling very proud of my self, I jotted down my final recipe and made one more pan.

IIt was at this time i noticed on the back of the package of lady fingers I was useing was yet another recipe for tersmisu. So I read it, feeling smug, and wondered how far off these cookie makers could be from a real teramisu.

The bastards had my recipe. Almost exactly. Two months of cooking and all I had to do was read the directions printed on the package. :o

Can't say as I have a definite one- as far as the actors I love Tim Curry and all the movies he has been in - even when they suck- which most have - omg, remember Congo? but i like him. Susan Sarandon was great in The Hunger!

One of my claims to fame: Writing the tagline for Congo: "Where you are the endangered species." Yes, I was partially responsible for people spending money to see that piece of crap.
