How do i feel about SL relationships...
Well, i fell in love here. No roleplay, no playing a game, really fell in love... most strange and astounding experience of my life. Passionate love affair, great sex, amazing sex, a LOT of amazing sex. She broke it off eventually... but we couldn't stay apart, so we're back together. Six months and counting. She loves me. I love her. And i'll love her for the rest of my life. Dead serious.

I think there are quite a few different types of relationships that exist such as professional relationships, business relationships, casual relationships, serious relationships, sexual relationships and marital relationships, and it seems they can all exist in SL as well as RL. The only one of these I have never been, nor would most likely never become involved with in SL is a marital relationship. One husband is quite enough thank you (if I could somehow convert him to an avatar and thus my married status to a SL one I must say there are times I’d be very, very tempted to do so!  ). Seriously though I just don’t get being married in SL unless as some kind of “for fun” RP but to each their own. Its just not my cup of tea. |

Heya, this is my first ever post (I think) right here.
I'm in a state of confusion right now about my SL partner, hence prompted me to write here in this thread and give my penny's worth. I'd not say we are each other's perfect partner cos we do have our difference, which seem insignificant compared to what connect us.
anyway, one advice is to really see if your expectations of a r/s match those of your potential partner. Also, to those who think that u can simply shut a person (in SL) by just switching off the PC or uninstalling the game, to hell with them...cos this is UNTRUE! We are dealing with real people with feelings....!

The other advice I'd give is if someone is chasing you, they are doing it from the point of view of their own needs not necessarily what YOU want. Check if there's anything they are prepared to give or are they all take take take and want want want. Sometimes people are all take and want, dressed up as "give".
